I wanted something for my 72 hour emergency kit. I got 4 for our 2 kids and 2 adults. Makes me feel more prepared.

Comments about American Red Cross Personal Emergency Preparedness, First Aid Kit, 1 ea:

We bought these to put into our truck for "what-if" situations and winter travel. This is not a long term survival pack; I would only on rely on it for 12 hours, 24 if I had too.

I took everything out of the little container it comes in, paid attention to how it was stored and it all went in better then it came out (I even added an SPF lip balm and small "Wisp" toothbrush).

It was an okay product not the best first aid kit i've seen but not the worst either. It just was annoying that the box was huge and everything was shoved in a small container that was not easy to get everthing back into.

This product is full of things!!! I love it because as a parent of a driver and friends, I give them away for car use. I want my child and friends to have these things available and know that it wouldn't be something they would even think of buying. I have not used all of the items but can see that they are easy to use and know that 16-17 yearolds will find them helpful. Hopefully we will never get the chance to use most of these items!!!
