Great lotion for KP sufferers. I do not use this everyday, more so every other day. If you're going to use a lotion with AHA, make sure you also use a lotion with sunscreen. I put this on at night after my shower, and when I wake up I apply another lotion with SPF. I like Kiehl's Creme de corps with SPF. I also apply this on my feet, since I cannot get rid of my cracked heels. This lotion makes a difference on them OVERNIGHT. Not exaggerating either. Try it out. If you don't like it, try Cerave SA. Once again, use sunscreen! This increases your skins sensitivity to light.

This is great for exfoliating. I use a RETINOL product also, so the AMLACTIN works real well helping remove all the flaky skin that the retinol produces. However, you can not use the products together. The acid from the Amlactin will cancel out the retinol. So I use them on alternate days. I have a BIG concern about PARABENS in products and try to avoid them. This product contains the dreaded PARABENS. I am using it until I find something else as effective. I really do cringe every time I put it on knowing the Parabens are sinking into my skin and blood stream. The Parabens are hormone disrupters and can be found in the blood and urine after applying.

My dermatologist recommended AmLactin several years ago for dry skin. I purchase the large size with pump and use it daily on elbows, feet and legs. The pump makes it very easy to use. It's scent-free so it doesn't compete with any perfume or other scents I'm wearing. It's lightweight so there is no "drying" time.

I applied this right after the shower, and after a couple days using this lotion on my skin, I've developed an extremely itch, ugly rash with pinkish red blotches and small bumps. I have eczema, so my parents recommended this product, but my eczema is due to my high sensitivity to just about anything from diet to weather. If you have sensitive skin at all, do not use this product. There have been no improvements in my eczema from using this lotion, and now I have a rash I have to wait for to go away.

After trying every moisturizing lotion ever made, Amlactin was reccomended to me and I will NEVER go back to any other. I have very dry skin year-round, worse in winter. Using Amlactin daily after my shower has made a tremendous difference. Also keeps the heels of my feet soft and callous-free, even after a summer in sandals.
