I tried it shortly after she recommended it and in a few weeks the bumps were gone and sometime after that, I don't recall how long, the red scar like marks they leave behind were also gone. After all these years I'm still using it as a preventative and my arms are smooth and clear. I only apply it to the areas it's needed so it lasts quite awhile. It does not have a great smell so after it dries thoroughly I apply my regular lotion as usual. I've recommended this to countless people, including my cosmetologist and she now recommends it too!! I'd used other unrelated products in the past successfully for this purpose (so I know it's possible to get rid of them). I used about 80% of the bottle over about 2+ months before I gave up on it. From my perspective, it was a bad 2 months. REVIEWS Reviewed by 82 customers Sort by Displaying reviews 1-10 Previous | Next » Pros

Comments about AmLactin Moisturizing Lotion, 7.9 oz: I read that this product helps keratosis pilaris which is why I tried it. I am so glad that I did. I have tried several products-even ones recommended by dermatologists such as urea cream that did not do much except smell terrible. I have been using the product just about every night before bedtime on my arms for the last 3 weeks. My arms were rough with red bumps and now they look dramatically better-the kp has almost vanished and my skin has never been smoother. I can't believe I found something that works! Also it isn't smelly and absorbs pretty quickly. The most effective product for kp I've tried. Pros Cons Best Uses Comments about AmLactin Moisturizing Lotion, 7.9 oz: I have dry skin. Mylegs looked like road maps. Within a week, they look great. This lotion is the best!! I also like the foot cream. Pros

Comments about AmLactin Moisturizing Lotion, 7.9 oz: After a lifetime of battling dry cracked and bleeding hands, and trying every lotion and cream ever made (it seems), this stuff is the best I've used, by far. A dermatologist recommended it and so have I, every time someone brings up the problem of dry skin. I prefer to put it on before bed, but it can go on anytime; it's not greasy. Pros
Cons Best Uses Comments about AmLactin Moisturizing Lotion, 7.9 oz: I use this for the Keratosis Pilaris (chicken skin) on my upper arms. I have only been using this for FOUR DAYS and I already see a difference! My skin is smoother and less blothchy. The only negative is that it is thick and sort of sticky, and it takes a long time to fully absorb. But, if you want clearer skin, it's totally worth it! Pros

Comments about AmLactin Moisturizing Lotion, 7.9 oz: Stops bumps on arms and butt quickly after you begin using it everyday Pros
Cons Best Uses Comments about AmLactin Moisturizing Lotion, 7.9 oz: I used to get lactic acid facials. When I couldn't afford to do them as often I started looking for a lactic acid based lotion I could use daily. This was it. The days I use this alone, without putting makeup on, I swear I am always startled to see my face in a mirror and realize it is literally glowing. It's important to note that there isn't anything irridescent in this that would cause that. It just makes your skin look exceptionally clean, dewy and healthy. That alone makes me reach for this lotion every day. I usually cleanse my face at night and put this on as a bedtime "treatment"/moisturizer. Some days that I don't wear makeup I will go out with nothing but this on my face. My face appears illuminated, hydrated and the skin almost plumped up. I love it and will continue to use this and recommend it to others. As a side note, it cleared up some areas on my hands that were dry, cracked and irritated but are now soft and smooth. Pros

Comments about AmLactin Moisturizing Lotion, 7.9 oz: This is for every aging person who is over 40 and has a vanity issue about the crepe skin on forearms and aging hands. We know that is how people can tell how old you are. I cannot PRAISE this lotion enough. My forearms were so dry and I had such crepe skin there, they look 15 years younger than they are. I am now trying to make sure I use it on my hands and they are looking much better. Displaying reviews 1-10 Previous | Next » ![]() |
