I tried it shortly after she recommended it and in a few weeks the bumps were gone and sometime after that, I don't recall how long, the red scar like marks they leave behind were also gone. After all these years I'm still using it as a preventative and my arms are smooth and clear. I only apply it to the areas it's needed so it lasts quite awhile. It does not have a great smell so after it dries thoroughly I apply my regular lotion as usual. I've recommended this to countless people, including my cosmetologist and she now recommends it too!! I'd used other unrelated products in the past successfully for this purpose (so I know it's possible to get rid of them). I used about 80% of the bottle over about 2+ months before I gave up on it. From my perspective, it was a bad 2 months. REVIEWS Reviewed by 82 customers Sort by Displaying reviews 21-30 Pros

Comments about AmLactin Moisturizing Lotion, 7.9 oz: I love this product. I've had dry rough skin for 45 years. Now I'm starting to see annoying lines and wrinkles on my cheeks. My doctor recommened AmLactin. If he weren't married I'd kiss him! This stuff is fantastic. I use it head to toe after showering. After it has absorbed into my skin I use my regular face cream and makeup. And the lines all but disappear. I've been using it for about three months now and think I'll buy stock in the company! Pros

Comments about AmLactin Moisturizing Lotion, 7.9 oz: we use it on my husband, Parkinson's patient with skin dryness. We put in on after showers at night so it soaks in thru the night. Pros

Comments about AmLactin Moisturizing Lotion, 7.9 oz: I was given this product by my dermatologist. Have to admit that I quit using it because of the smell. But, if a product works, it works. Have just recently gone back to using it, again. Pros

Comments about AmLactin Moisturizing Lotion, 7.9 oz: A friend recommended this product to help soften calluses on my feet. It has done an outstanding job, not only on my feet, but on my legs and arms as well. It is the best product I have found to moisturize my skin in the high desert climate where I live. Pros

Comments about AmLactin Moisturizing Lotion, 7.9 oz: My dermatologist suggested that we use Amlactin for our son's KP. He has it on his cheeks and his upper arms and has had it since he was a baby. We started using it after his bath or in the morning before he gets ready to go out. We're seeing a reduction in the bumps which is a great thing. We squeeze out a dime sized amount then rub into the bumps until it absorbs. It takes awhile and three year olds aren't known for their ability to stay still for long. So that's a drawback. But the product does really well. Pros Cons

Comments about AmLactin Moisturizing Lotion, 7.9 oz: This lotion was recommended to me by my dermatologist 15 years ago, before it could be bought over the counter. He used it himself and said if he could only use one product on his skin, this would be it. That was good enough for me and I've been using it ever since. I have dry/sensitive skin and this lotion is perfect for all but the most stubborn dry spots. It's a bit expensive and has a slightly salty taste, but I can live with that. I absolutely would not be without AmLactin Lotion! (PS, If you need a heavy-duty moisturizing cream, try AmLactin Cream.) Displaying reviews 21-30 ![]() |
