I tried it shortly after she recommended it and in a few weeks the bumps were gone and sometime after that, I don't recall how long, the red scar like marks they leave behind were also gone. After all these years I'm still using it as a preventative and my arms are smooth and clear. I only apply it to the areas it's needed so it lasts quite awhile. It does not have a great smell so after it dries thoroughly I apply my regular lotion as usual. I've recommended this to countless people, including my cosmetologist and she now recommends it too!! VS Most Liked Negative Review Uncomfortably Sticky; Mediocre results I purchased Amlactin to treat those little red bumps. I'd used other unrelated products in the past successfully for this purpose (so I know it's possible to get rid of them). I used about 80% of the bottle over about 2+ months before I gave up on it. From my perspective, it was a bad 2 months. REVIEWS Reviewed by 82 customers Sort by Displaying reviews 31-40 Pros

Comments about AmLactin Moisturizing Lotion, 7.9 oz: I used it after a week of intense sun @ the beach and this is the only product that I've used that prevented my horridly dry skin from peeling! I didn't even have to look like a prune because AmLactin has kept my skin soft and moisturized! No more scaly and unsightly skin! Pros

Comments about AmLactin Moisturizing Lotion, 7.9 oz: recommended by my doctor, i tried this lotion for my very dry skin. My knuckles were chapped, and splitting and my hands were becming leather-like. It really works well - use it twice a day as stated on the bottle. Faint amonia smell when applied to dry skin that wears off quickly, STRONG smell when applied on wet skin. that is the only downside. Pros

Comments about AmLactin Moisturizing Lotion, 7.9 oz: I saw this product advertized in the Today Show. I thought I would spend more money trying to find the moisturer again. Guess what - this is IT....Buy this, please, expecially if you have wasted so much money on other products..It really works and feels so good. It especially took care of those dry bumps we get during the winter months on our skin. I will now only buy this product - one for home & one for the gym bag... Pros

Comments about AmLactin Moisturizing Lotion, 7.9 oz: This is virtually identical to my dermatologist Rx-12% (lactic) alpha-hydroxy acid with added moisturizers. I wouldn't go in the sun without adding a layer of sunscreen. Pros

Comments about AmLactin Moisturizing Lotion, 7.9 oz: I have extremely dry skin and during winter i can peel it off like tomatoes! This has been the case since childhood. None of the moisturizinf lotions or creams worked until i found about lactic acid as a mild exfoliant. I tried this product from [...]..I didnt like the way it had to be rubbed in. After 3 years i again tried..and since then this is the only moisturizer i have in my cabinet albeit the fact that i have spent 100's of dollars in brand/budget/exotic/ organic ones. If it has helped me (the worst case of driest skin ever), I think it will help anyone as long as they are not allergic / sensitive to any ingredients. Pros

Comments about AmLactin Moisturizing Lotion, 7.9 oz: I say "almost great" because of the sightly weird smell otherwise it's fine and functional especially if I combine it with a plop of Psorzema. Displaying reviews 31-40 ![]() |
