I initially bought this only for my husband to use since he has very sensitive skin and on top of that its dry. During the winter it gets worse and I wanted to find something that would help. Since he started using this his dry skin is almost non existant and his sensitive skin rearely flares up any more. I started using it and noticed my skin is glowing as looks more beautiful this is a great product, the only thing is the smell. Its not bad but It does smell like something I'd put on my feet not my face- medicinal like is the only way I can describe it.

A dermatologist told me about this product since I have seriously dry, flaky skin. If I will use it everyday, my skin is soft and smooth and doesn't flake off!! It is not a smell good product but doesn't leave a residual "bad" smell either. I would recommend this to anyone who has scaly, flakey, dry skin!

This works! That is all there is to it. Dry skin, flaky skin, bumpy skin, keratosis pilaris, etc. It is gone. Yes it is pricy, but it is worth every penny. It is best to apply after a shower, as this makes it easier to spread. Yes it is a little thick, and it does not have a nice smell, but the smell does not last on your skin. Besides, if your skin feels like silk after a couple of weeks, you will forget about the smell and the price!!!!! You can alternate every other day or every third day with your other favorite lotion(eg. Amlactin 12%) and you will still notice a difference. Secret: If you want to try it out, buy the Amlactin Foot Cream Therapy in the smaller tube. Same triple lactic acid alpha-hydroxys.

I have extremely dry, flaky skin with over-growth of skin cells. This lotion works well but the XL Fot Cream is better for me.

I used to love this cream and it worked very well on those little bumps on the back of my arms -- smoothed them out. For some reason, it didn't work so well on the back of my legs, but I do think it helped somewhat. I've been buying it for a couple of years now. HOWEVER, I just ordered it again, and not only has the packaging changed (which is fine) but I believe the formula has also changed. It seems heavier and greasier. The really disappointing and off-putting thing is the smell. It never had a bad smell (or much of a smell at all) and now it's borderline nauseating. Too much of a hassle to return.

This is great for my son's Keratosis Pilarsis. Used twice a day; I can really see a difference in his bumpy areas. Tried several other 'KP' friendly products - none seem to work as good.

I bought this because I needed a heavier moisturizer for the winter and I'm trying to use up FSA funds. Since the other amlactin moisturizers had such good reviews i thought I would give this a try. In the wintertime I use a body oil after showering then a moisturizer so I am used to a heavier feel. After a few minutes I wipe myself off with a towel. I found this product to be no better than any other moisturizer I've used and I gave it a low rating because of the smell. It has a putrid almost urine like smell. Sour and rather unpleasant. I do use a lot of "natural" and organic products without chemicals so maybe that's why I didn't like it.

Love this cream! I use it mostly for my feet - and it works better than any foot cream I have ever tried. No more rough heels, no more heel cracks. Amazing. I don't care much for the aroma, however. Although it is "fragrance free" - there is still a slight aroma to it that keeps me from using it on my hands - as much as I would like to.
