Children & teenagers who have or are recovering from chicken pox or flu-like symptoms should not use this product. When using this product, if changes in behavior with nausea & vomiting occur, consult a doctor because these symptoms could be an early sign of Reye's syndrome, a rare but serious illness. Aspirin may cause a severe allergic reaction which may include: hives, facial swelling, asthma (wheezing) or shock. This product contains an NSAID, which may cause severe stomach bleeding. The chance is higher if you are age 60 or older, have had stomach ulcers or bleeding problems, take a blood thinner (anticoagulant) or steroid drug, or take other drugs containing prescription or non prescription NSAIDs (aspirin, ibuprofen, naproxen or others), have 3 or more alcoholic drinks every day while using this product or take more or for a longer time than directed. Do not use if you have ever had an allergic reaction to any other pain reliever/fever reducer. Ask a doctor before use if stomach bleeding warning applied to you, you have a history of stomach problems such as heartburn, you have high blood pressure, heart disease, liver cirrhosis, or kidney disease, you are taking a diuretic or you have asthma. Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you are raking a prescription drug for diabetes, gout or arthritis. Stop use & ask a doctor you are experiencing any of the following signs of stomach bleeding: feel faint, vomit blood, have bloody or black stools or have stomach pain that does not get better, an allergic reaction occurs (seek help right away), new symptoms occur, ringing in the ears or loss of hearing occurs, redness or swelling is present, pain gets worse or lasts more than 10 days, or fever gets worse or lasts more than 3 days. The recommended dose of this product contains about as much caffeine as a cup of coffee. Limit the use of caffeine-containing medications, foods or beverages while taking this product because too much caffeine may cause nervousness, irritability, sleeplessness & occasionally, rapid heart beat. If pregnant or breast-feeding, ask a health professional before use. It is especially important not to use aspirin during the last 3 months of pregnancy unless definitely directed to do do by a doctor because it may cause problems in the unborn child or complications during delivery. Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away.

I bought this to replace another migraine pain reliever that includes aspirin, caffeine and acetaminophen. I no longer can take acetaminophen because of a health problem. I didn't know they made Anacin anymore until I saw it on the Drugstore.com site. I've used it for a migraine and I feel there is no difference between the other migraine pain reliever and Anacin. I am very pleased with the product.

Aspirin is the only thing that works on my aches. Anacin has been around for decades. My mother has only used Anacin (regular strength) for at least the past 60 years for tension headaches. My husband and I use it for headaches and back strains due to elder care. It takes less than a half an hour to start working. Anacin relieves the pain so that the nagging stops and my husband can relax and go to sleep. The two tablets will last him through the night.
The only problem is that the Extra Strength Anacin (aspirin) is extremely hard to find on the market. I have only found it online at Drugstore.com. The price is good so I have to stock up on it. I have checked many stores and online sites and yes, Drugstore.com is the only place to find Anacin Extra Strength.

I use this product for severe arthritis in my shoulder, neck, elbows and knees as well as a torn miniscis tendon in one knee. I have to take anti-inflammatory twice a day as well; but they do nothing for the pain. Tylenol is good; but often (and as my condition as gotten worst) just don't work. I started with regular Anacin and immediately fell in love with the stuff. Then I saw the extra strength version here and when I asked for it at my local drug store they said they couldn't order it, corporation makes these decisions, ect. So I ordered it here and have used it for the last week and let me tell you there is a definite difference! A good one. Stronger and longer lasting than regular strength and the regular strength was no weak stuff to begin with. But when I have a bad flare-up or I use it to keep the pain under control at work (had two flare-ups this week) the extra strength kick in quick and stops the pain fast and keeps it stopped for about 5-6 hours. Don't abuse it; follow the directions and if you have a sensitive stomach eat a little food with it. But this is the strongest otc I've found and love it. My Dr. had me on vicoden; which you don't want to keep taking that if you don't have to and this works for me just as well...without feeling dopey.[...] Great prices; in fact consistently lower that anywhere in town.Again; if you really need something for constant pain that works fast and lasts, if Anacin falls a little short then try this extra strength Anacin. Nothing else works for me!

I have a bad back and this particular Anacin is the only thing that works for my pain. I don't take any other pain medication, as most of them tend to put me in "funny heaven". Anacin does not affect me that way. It just eases my pain so I can function.

I use this product daily. It does not upset my stomach and I have experienced no other side effects from using this product. This product is an effective pain reliever and I use it rather than taking a presription drug pain reliever.

This is the only over the counter product that has relieved my migraines. As soon as I feel one coming on I take 3-4 (YES, I know it is not what is suggested, but it works) and put an ice bag on the back of my neck and/or forehead as needed. I have done this for 3 years now and I make sure I eat something along with the anacin. If I get another headache several days in a row, and I use it repeatedly, I sometimes get ringing in my ears but it beats a debilitating headache.
Do not use more thank directed. Drink a full glass of water with each dose. Adults & children 12 years of age or older: take 2 tablets every 6 hours; not more than 8 tablets in 24 hours or as directed by a doctor. Children 12 years of age: ask a doctor. Keep carton for full drug facts & warnings. Read all warnings & directions before use. Store at 15°-25°C (59°-77°F). Protect from moisture.
