Way too many scallions = overwhelming onion flavor. Tofu is like little, chewy sponges - had to spit them out. Found 2 very small shiitake shroom pieces - image on box used computer graphics to superimpose shrooms on photo as blue outline indicates... Noodles broke up into small pieces with no prodding or stirring. Overall a total waste of money and non-edible. Had to toss all but a few bites of broken noodles.

I'm a big fan of all Annie Chun's products, but Udon is my favorite Annie Chun's noodle bowl. The taste is savory, and not spicy at all. It makes a delicious meal on its own, or you can add bits of meat and veggies to make it more filling.

I also love Annie Chun's noodles, meal starters and sauces for homemade dinners that taste like my favorite restaurant. Pity that drugstore.com doesn't carry those too.

Microwave cooking directions:

Place noodles in bowl and pour a cup of hot water over noodles to soften and loosen.
Using lid, drain water from noodles
Add soup base and toppings to noodles then add 1 to 1 1/4 cups of water.
Cover loosely with lid and microwave on high for 90 seconds, until noodles are hot. (Caution! Bowl will be hot after microwaving)

No microwave? Add 1 to 1 1/4 cup of boiling water to soup base, toppings and noodles. Cover with lid and let stand for 2 minutes.
