She has extremely sensitive northeastener's skin that chafes when perspiration or body heat combine with physical activities to rub her skin until it became reddened. ALL products she used were petroleum based and extremely short lasting, yet expensive. This was bought as a lark, on a recommendation, and she has loaded up almost to backorder because it satisfys EVERYWHERE she wants to eliminate friction between the joints that are covered by skin, especially her feminine areas. I use it in my athletic shoes and gear, and it works just as well for my friction areas under arms and between my legs. WHAT A SCORE! And everyone will try it because of the peculiar name! Not to mention how ridiculous you look if your changing clothes around other people like in a locker room or if you send your laundry out. But then again guys if you like having your white underwear to turn a pinkish shade I would say this is the product for you. I bought two bottles of the stuff because it got such good reviews. After trying the first one a few times they're both going in the garbage! Stick with the brands you know that work. It helps stop chafing and absorbs sweat in areas where skin rubs together. Can be used in delicate (external) areas with no problem. You have to be careful applying it; however, because it tends to get on visible areas of clothing if you're not careful. Best to put on after showering, then be sure to rinse hands before getting dressed. I find I have to put lotion on my hands afterwards because Anti-Monkey Butt seems to leave them very dry. Oh, I usually use the Lady Anti-Monkey Butt, but there's not any really difference that I can tell. Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Was this review helpful? I live in humid environment so at times it takes extra effort to thoroughly dry skin before application. Works well to decrease perspiration and chaffing irritation. Would recommend. I bought it for a laugh. Then we used some, first for my feet and then later for hiking trips where chafing becomes an issue. This product is great!! It goes on easy and feels soft and smooth. It prevents chafing from heavy backpacks, and hip belts, it absorbs moisture and keeps boots from smelling of monkey butts. I do recommend this product, it has a lot of uses.
