I have used this product for 25 years. I have tried a lot of new products that have come out and never been as satisfied as I am with Aquanet. It doesn't leave residue in my hair and will comb or brush right out. It doesn't dull the hair after several days of use.

I agree about wanting an even "lower number" of Aqua Net hairspray. Stores all carry the extra super duper hold hairsprays in all brands yet I don't see women using those types of hairspray. What's the deal? Whose using those hairsprays and why don't manufacturers listen to the rest of us who don't want helmets on our heads, just a good hold?

My hair is fine and straight with no body. I tease it a lot for height and to keep it "off my head" and need hair spray to keep the "do." I don't want my hair to look or feel like a helmet and this Aqua Net #2 hair spray (unscented) accomplishes this. It should be sold in stores! It's really expensive ordering it from drugstore.com

I forgot that the unscented does have a scent and not a very nice one either.

Wish I could find Aqua net in the RED (not purple/fuschia) can - #1 Regular - that was fine for me - fragrance was fine, hold was just enough - but they seem to only be making the #2 and #3 super hold versions. Why the #1 has seemingly disappeared who knows.

I don't have the patience, time or money to research all the other brands of spray. I just want a simple light spray to hold the ends and minimize frizz in humid weather. I don't use a lot so a can lasts for ages.
