I spent sooo much money on eye creams in general and never satisfied with their result. The dryness kept coming back within few hours and wrinkles showed no matter how expensive the eye creams were. When I saw the review about his product in one of beauty magazines with gentleness of the product that its safe enough for the eye area, I had to buy and try it around my eye area. And this became my miracle eye cream for the night and day. The first thing I do in the morning is looking at the mirror and check for my dryness and fine wrinkles and its gone. It looks so soft, moist, and looking younger. I also use this in the morning under the make up as well. I love, love this product as my eye cream and I will never spend money on eye cream except this product and I am almost 50. If you have dryness around eye area, try this and you will see the differences in the morning especially. Worked better when I used it at night and it had all night to absorb. I like Neutrogena Norwegian Formula, fragrance free, better. It absorbs faster and works really well. It's also what my dermatologist recommended. It's sometimes hard to find, so I thought I'd try this as an alternative. I doubt I'll buy it again as long as I can get the Neutrogena. Aquaphor might be good for some, but it's too much like vaseline for me. Reviewed by 99 customers Sort by Displaying reviews 1-10 Previous | Next » 5/15/2012 Awesome! Pros

Comments about Aquaphor Healing Ointment, 1.75 oz: I made the mistake of using my retin-a micro on my whole face instead of just my T-zone so it left me with really dry skin near my jaw lines and my chin. But when I started using this product, within 2 days, my skin was back to normal. You don't need to use a lot of because a little goes a long way. I only use it at night because it has the consistency of vaseline which is pretty thick and greasy. I started using it on my lips too and it works great. Comments about Aquaphor Healing Ointment, 1.75 oz: I have lip licker's dermatitis and this is the only thing that helped out of probably a dozen other types of healing ointments and lip balms. Comments about Aquaphor Healing Ointment, 1.75 oz: This was great one winter when my hands were horribly chapped. It IS AWFULLY GREASY, so I suggest using it at bedtime with some gloves. It all washes off when you wash your hands, though, so you'll need to reapply. My sister also got this from her tattoo artist to put over her new tattoos, she said it helped a lot. Comments about Aquaphor Healing Ointment, 1.75 oz: Note it's ointment, not lotion. So it's a bit greasy to use all over. I love it for elbows, heels, cuticles, knuckles. And I do use it on my hands at night or when I have 5-10 minutes for it to soak in. Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Was this review helpful? Comments about Aquaphor Healing Ointment, 1.75 oz: This is the best as a replacement for petoleum jelly and it is so much less greasy. Comments about Aquaphor Healing Ointment, 1.75 oz: The only active ingredient is petrolatum. In comparisons, the $1.99 Vaseline works just as well as this Aquaphor and is no more greasy or heavy. Comments about Aquaphor Healing Ointment, 1.75 oz: I started putting this on my lips before going to bed, lately my chapstick hasn't been really doing the job. Even when it wears off I still wake up with soft lips and I substitute this for gloss as well. Another great benefit is if you have cracked heels, you put this on your feet and sleep with socks on, your feet are smooth the next day. Great product, I also carry the small tubes in my purse as well to moisturize my lips and cuticles. Comments about Aquaphor Healing Ointment, 1.75 oz: This product was originally recommended to me by my dermatologist when I did Acutane back in the day. Now 10 years later I always have some on hand. Now, yes, this is a greasy product, but that really can't be avoided if ultimate hydrating is your goal. I keep the larger tube in my bedside table to put on my hands and feet before bed. Amazing in the winter to heal horrible dry spot woes. I buy the smaller tubes for travel, work and in my car so I'm never without. I love that this is fragrance and irritant free, great for anyone and everyone! Comments about Aquaphor Healing Ointment, 1.75 oz: I was receiving chemo treatment at NIH and an effect of my treatment caused my feet and legs to swell. Swell so badly they cracked and blisters formed on the outside of my skin. The blisters subsequently burst, leaving 2"-3" raw patches. The wound specialists used this product every day on these sores for about 2-3 weeks, and the raw patches healed completely. I will NEVER be without this product in my medicine cabinet. Cons Best Uses
Comments about Aquaphor Healing Ointment, 1.75 oz: I have sensitive, chapped lips and bought both the Aquaphor healing ointment and lip repair to try. Am very happy that I bought the healing ointment, it's long lasting and quite effective. Although it did not repair/heal the chapped lips (it's been almost 2 weeks but my chapped lips still feel very dry and sore if I don't put on the ointment after bathing/brushing teeth), but it creates a barrier and prevent them from getting worse.
