This is my very first review on any product and I want to share my experience with others. I spent sooo much money on eye creams in general and never satisfied with their result. The dryness kept coming back within few hours and wrinkles showed no matter how expensive the eye creams were. When I saw the review about his product in one of beauty magazines with gentleness of the product that its safe enough for the eye area, I had to buy and try it around my eye area. And this became my miracle eye cream for the night and day. The first thing I do in the morning is looking at the mirror and check for my dryness and fine wrinkles and its gone. It looks so soft, moist, and looking younger. I also use this in the morning under the make up as well. I love, love this product as my eye cream and I will never spend money on eye cream except this product and I am almost 50. If you have dryness around eye area, try this and you will see the differences in the morning especially.

I tried using this during the day and it didn't absorb very quickly. Worked better when I used it at night and it had all night to absorb. I like Neutrogena Norwegian Formula, fragrance free, better. It absorbs faster and works really well. It's also what my dermatologist recommended. It's sometimes hard to find, so I thought I'd try this as an alternative. I doubt I'll buy it again as long as I can get the Neutrogena. Aquaphor might be good for some, but it's too much like vaseline for me.

Comments about Aquaphor Healing Ointment, 1.75 oz:

This ointment is a miracle for dry, chapped hands.

I used Aquaphor for the first time last night and was actually shocked at the immediate results (first time that ever happened). This morning my hands are still as moist and soft, and it didn't wear off (even though I didn't wear cotton gloves). Another first.

I can't believe some of the negative comments on here. This is a "healing ointment" (even recommended for irritation due to radiation therapy). If your looking for something with a flowery scent that absorbs 100% (no protective barrier), there are many wonderful milky type scented lotions on the market. If you have uncomfortably dry hands and want relief, this product is awesome.

Those who say it's the "same as Vaseline" have obviously never worn Vaseline on their hands all day (and at night with cotton gloves). I give these people until the first time they try to turn a doorknob before they wash it off. Trust me, Aquaphor isn't greasy and absorbs very well compared to other ointments and creams that I've used. It's meant to leave a protective barrier on your skin, so no, it won't absorb like a lotion (luckily it doesn't transfer to objects you touch, so no worry about touching your hair or keyboard etc).

I'm very happy that I found this product. It's the first to provide immediate relief and to not wear off. Added bonus, I don't leave a greasy film on anything I touch. I love it! :)

I fell for the Dr Oz hype. I should have read the ingredients first. Just go buy some petroleum jelly and mix it with mineral oil. It's the same thing.

this is indeed a healing ointment! i use it on grandchildrens little skin injuries. i have tried store brands and the consistancy just isn't the same. this goes on very smoothly and is very effective. i have replaced the store brand with aquaphor because i have not found anything that i like as well. it is especially good on healing areas after cuts, scrapes,or sutures (after using the antiobiotic ointment) and helps prevent scaring!!

Had some minor surgery to remove pre-cancerous mole and derm doc liked this over the other Neo stuff. Promotes healing since she didn't want area to dry out ... scabs can can leave scars, I'm told. I use this on lips and cuticles as well.
