This is the BEST for your child's super dry, scaly, winter skin!! Use it in the evenings after their bath, and slather it everywhere. My son's super-dry skin that was resistant to everything in the winter (including our beloved and much more expensive Mustela line of baby products) responded beautifully to this. It feels a tad bit messy/heavy on your hands, but I've never seen it come off on the bedsheets or anything-- so I think it absorbs reasonably well. The key is that IT WORKS! Buy this version, rather than the Aquaphor "Baby" version-- they are the exact same ingredients but this is $1 cheaper.

This ointment is great for eczema! I prefer to use it at bedtime because it is on the greasier side. Works great and no bad odor like some other creams/ointments.

Apply to heal chapped,cracked, skin at bedtime. I rub it on my heels every night and wear socks to bed. After a week, the results were TREMENDOUS! I also use it on my hands that usually crack all winter long. They are now smooth and clear from any cracks! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

This is one of the best moisturizing products on the market. I use it mainly for my dry lips and hands. It does blend well into the skin if used very sparingly. It's very greasy, so not great for all over the body or any area that will transfer to clothes.

I am a diabetic, so when I have scratches or open sores that need attention, this is the medicine I go to! My doctor gave me some samples and it worked so well that I bought TWO big jars of it.

You only need a little bit, so use it sparingly.

I am in my late 50s and have chronic eczema. My face was constantly getting red and then peeling. It would heal, and then for no apparent reason the cycle would start all over again. This went on for over 20 years. I was under the care of a dermatologist for all of that time, and although we made progress with the eczema on my body, nothing seemed to help my face, including a prescription moisturizer. My doctor had recommended other uses for Aquaphor ointment, but never had suggested it as a facial moisturizer (probably because it is so heavy and I live in a warm climate). In desperation, I started using it on my face about a year and a half ago. It has been nothing short of a miracle. I use it in the morning and then again in the evening, before going to bed. My face now is "normal" about 99% of the time. If it does start to get irritated, instead of grabbing industrial-strength steroids as I had in the past (against doctor's orders, but I was desperate), I put on an extra coating. As an added bonus, the Aquaphor gives my skin a youthful glow and keeps it nice and soft.

I had the worst case of summer exzema acouple years ago. It was so bad, people thought I was in a fire and had been burned! It itched so badly, I would just sit and cry. Nothing helped. Did see a doctor, but this was recommended to me by a friend and she even gave me a jar she had and didn`t need. I now keep it on hand and at the SLIGHTEST hint of a bout of dryness, I slather it on after a shower. It seems like vaseline at first, but is absorbed quickly and makes skin soft and comfortable. No more itching. Worth every penny!!!!

IF YOU DO NOT HAVE THIS PRODUCT IN YOUR BEAUTY KIT YOU ARE MISSING OUT !! If you have oily skin on your face, this isn't something you want to use on your face, but works wonders on chapped lips, ashy elbows & knees cracked skin on feet. I normally have oily skin, not as much anymore from use of retin-a micro IT DRIES YOU OUT LIKE YOU WOULD NEVER IMAGINE, NO MATTER HOW OILY YOU ARE !! IT WILL GO AWAY WHEN YOUR SKIN GETS USE TO IT. I PROMISE! (DON'T GIVE UP ON THAT PRODUCT IT WILL BE A MISTAKE OF A LIFETIME.) but anyway when your skin does suffer those issues USE THIS !! i tried tons of things and nothing worked i put this on all over my face at night, woke up the next morning washed it off and no more flaky/peeling/chapped skin !! It didn't cause acne either!
Also fantastic on Tattoo's i have 6 and I have used it on all mine it prevents the skin from scabbing and bringing the ink to the surface where the ink, will chip off and it will result in faded spots.

My tattoo artist recommended this product during the healing process. Since we're working on a large piece with several sessions, I decided to buy a larger quantity. Aquaphor really helps the healing process and eliminates a lot of the itching and pain that normally occurs. It's also great for other scrapes, dry skin, etc.
