I slather it all over my face at night, even my eyelashes, and I wake up with soft skin that is highly hydrated and my lashes seem to have actually gotten a little stronger and thicker. I don't have use as much daily moisturizer as I use to either. When I wake up in the morning, I use a daily facial cleansing wipe to clean my face of any that hasn't absorbed into my skin. He has very fair skin - no blemishes at all but is sensitive to chapping/irritation. Depending on the particular pool and the length of expoure, his face would sometimes become extremely red and chapped - like a bad sunburn. He started putting aquaphor on before he went in the pool, and it has significantly help protect his skin - he doesn't have the extreme post-pool irritation, and his skin is generally less dry. It is heavy and greasy - and it would not be suitable for him to use as a daily moisurizer or post-swim moisturizer. But it works very well as a protectant, and I would also use it as a therapeutic ointment for extremely dry/cracked hands/feet, etc. Reviewed by 47 customers Sort by Displaying reviews 1-10 Previous | Next » 3/18/2012 Simple and effective ! I suggest product can be deliered directly to China. We don't need to search a better another transfer website! China is a large market , i don't think you'd abandon it, do you? Comments about Aquaphor Healing Ointment, 3.5 oz: I love this stuff, and I use it all the time on my lips, hands, elbows, sometimes on lower legs after shaving, and my feet. I use it on small cuts and blisters and I swear it makes them heal a bit faster.I even sent some to my husband while he was deployed to Iraq for the chapped skin on his face and neck and legs. Fixed him right up, and even got his friends hooked on it over there too. I love to use a nice rich cream on my feat before bed, and then take a bit of this and put on top of it. Seams to hold in the cream and amplify the effects. But even on its own this is a great foot cream for soft smooth feet, or skin anywhere on ur body. I have even used a teeny bit on my face! This tub is a definate staple in our household Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Was this review helpful? Comments about Aquaphor Healing Ointment, 3.5 oz: I am an excessive handwasher and my husband's work takes him outside often. During the winter we both get very dry/red/cracking skin on our hands. We use this at night to give our hands overnight repair and it works very well. We will be purchasing again. Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Was this review helpful? Cons Best Uses
Comments about Aquaphor Healing Ointment, 3.5 oz: I've had eczema since childhood. Some years it's almost nonexistent, some years it's bad. I used to use Eucerin in the winter to protect against or soothe my eczema, but found it too thick and greasy. Aquaphor works great -- a thin layer of the stuff moisturizes just as well as a gob of Eucerin and leaves your skin soft, not oily or slick. It also has no smell. In the winter, I put it on the driest patches of my skin after the shower; all-over use or using it during other seasons might be a bit too much.
