This lip balm is perfect for the dry desert conditions I live in. It saved my lips when I was in Iraq and Kuwait. Being deployed, I need good sun protection and moisture for my lips. I apply this three or four times within a 12 hour period, and my lips are so soft. It isn't greasy or sticky and applies smoothly, and my lips don't get that gross cracked and flakey feeling if I don't apply it after it rubs off. It works as a great base to a lipstick, and my boyfriend can't get over how soft my lips are when we kiss. It works better than my Vasaline, Carmex, EOS, or Chapstick and I will never switch back!

I have used regular Aquaphor ointment as a lip balm for many years (among other uses). It keeps my lips healthy and moisturized. My only complaint is that the mini tubes require a finger to apply, making it messy and unsanitary. When I saw this new lip repair version with a normal lip applicator I had to try it. I assumed it Aquaphor ointment in a different tube...boy was I wrong! This lip balm is a totally different product. First of all the list of ingredients is about 3 times longer than regular Aquaphor (are all those additives necessary?). The consistency is waxy and dull, more like a chap stick. It disappears quickly so you constantly have to reapply. Worst of all it left my lips MORE DRY than before! I'm done with this overpriced gimmick and am going back to regular Aquaphor oinment.

Comments about Aquaphor Lip Repair, Immediate Relief, .35 fl oz:

My doctor recommended this to me for a spot on my lip that was going to be removed and was very irritated. Also, my lips become chapped and feel as though they've been burned when I'm under stress or mildly dehydrated or over-caffeinated and this is much better than the mild cortisone that another doctor had given me. There's no scent or taste and the slanted applicator tip makes it easy to apply. I have even applied a bit of lipstick for color over it without a problem.

Comments about Aquaphor Lip Repair, Immediate Relief, .35 fl oz:

I ued this for several weeks. It feels wonderful: soothing and cushioned - better lip feel than with regular Aquaphor. And it's great for a short while or if your lips don't require anything intensive. However, my lips are prone to excessive peeling, and I need something strong enough in the winter to use before bed that will protect my lips so that they feel by the time I wake up. I could still feel it on my lips when I awoke, which I like, but, oddly enough, my lips had large segments of peeling.

I've suffered lip cold sores and due to blistering, I now have light scarring on my bottom lip. I have been searching for a product that will renew the lip skin, and this product didn't help. I'm sure it's good for just regular lip moisture maintenance.

I've tried other lip products for my chronically dry lips. Most have some kind of oil that makes the skin around my mouth break out. Aquaphor has the right consistency that is not watery and is long-lasting.

I thought this was going to be the Aquaphor I LOVE with a lip applicator tip on it.....its not. Its a lip balm that feels nothing like Aquaphor. I went back to using my small tube of Aquaphor w/o the applicator tip.
