Comments about AquaSense Elevated Toilet Seat with Lid, 2 Inch, White, 1 ea:
Before deciding to buy this particular elevated seat and at this specific seller, I did a lot of online research, reading lots of specs and buyer reviews for all kinds of seats. I settled on this one because it seemed very well designed (with European origins, I think), easy to install (and easy to remove for cleaning of it and the toilet, then reinstall), and didn't cost a ridiculously high price (as was the case with some). The seat lived up to its promise, and installing it took probably a minute or two at most.
We liked it so well that last night I ordered another one, for our second bathroom. I debated whether to get the 4" height for that bathroom but finally decided against it (no tall people/long legs in the household, for whom such seat might be best). It should be noted that the seat is slightly higher at the back than at the front, so that maybe the average height above the toilet bowl top is 2". I consider this a good feature.
It also should be emphasized that these seats are NOT for use on elongated toilet bowls, just the standard, old-style residential type. Maybe eventually the manufacturer will make them, though.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

injury issues, you know how difficult many everyday activities can be. Don't let something as simple as using the bathroom ...
