The idea is genius and simple, but my applicator sputters product unevenly at times. I looked like a zebra the first time I applied it- there is no bronzer in the solution, so there is no way to tell where you have applied until hours later when the color develops. In the areas that I did cover, the color looked natural and even. Use barrier cream/ lotion generously! It works much better after the initial application to fill in faded spots and do touch ups. With practice, I've been getting a better result each time.

Please do not waste your money on this horrible product. I contacted the company about their so-called 90 day money back warranty and they gave me the run around. This is the worst self-tanning product I have ever used and to think I paid all that money when I could have bought another product for $12.99! I was streaked like a zebra. I followed the instructions and it still streaked me terribly. This has never happened to me in all the years I have been using self-tanning products.

This product is ingenious. Most self tanning products are impossible to apply to your back. This one makes it easy. Gives a nice misty spray, not too heavy, looks extremely natural. I made a couple of mistakes on my feet. I think i needed to use a little more of the barrier cream. will keep using! There is a great application video on their website.

I actually purchased this product over the weekend. I began using the product over the weekend and am pleasantly surprised at how well the product worked! It does dry quickly, does exactly what it says it will do and appears as quickly as it says it does! If you follow the directions it does everything just as it says including all tips on how to prevent errors. It's a little difficult to apply the first time but does get easier and the paper trick they mention WILL help you! Very pleased! Has a GREAT scent far better than any other spray tan, or self-tan lotions I have ever tried! Great product!

My husband gave this to me for Valentine's Day. It's easy, looks more natural than any other sunless tanning product I've ever used. Believe me, I've used them all! I've seen other great reviews about Aquasun and was very happy to see that it lives up to the hype. I'm really excited about this product, I can spray my own back and it's EVEN!! I love this product. Worth every cent. Ordering refills immediately.

I'm a little confused by the 2 bad reviews. I had a great experience. It's a wonderful and well thought out product. It's a light airy mist, goes on evenly, easy to apply and dries quickly. I've used it over the last few months and have had nothing but compliments. Beautiful color and it doesn't smell bad like some of the other brands. If you just look at the product, it makes total sense. I like that fact that I don't need any help applying it. The refill cans are inexpensive and give you 2 full tans.

Couldn't get the sprayer to work properly. It seemed to drip badly and everywhere it hit on skin, it left an ugly brown spot. Never could get it to spray evenly.

I hated this! Product was wet and took forever to dry...Then when it did it was splotchy and "Oopma-Loompa" orange. Save your money...The Loreal Sublime Bronze spray is much better, easy, even, natural, and WAY less expensive!!!

I've got a trip to Hawaii coming up and wanted to be tan before I went. After reading tons of online reviews for various sunless tanning products, I decided to try an airbrush system. This is the only one on drugstore.com so it got my attention.

Like the other reviewer said, when you attach the sprayer to the can, it will start spraying automatically so you want to make sure it's pointed somewhere safe. Pressing the button on the handle a few times usually gets the spray to stop, but sometimes it leaks a bit continuously anyway. That is pretty much the reason why I give this product 4 stars instead of 5.

In general, this product is very easy to use. I read the manual from front to back before my first application, then kept it on hand while I sprayed. I was super worried about streaks so I buffed lightly with a dark towel after most sprays. I think this is why the color wasn't as dark as I'd hoped it would be after two applications. I did a third (just on my body, not my face) the next day, trying to use the towel as little as possible and that is when I got my only streak - along the inside of my left ankle where excess tanner dripped down. It takes at least an hour for the color to start developing so I had no idea the streak was there until it was too late. It's not noticeable unless I'm completely barefoot though.

The barrier cream is a good idea, but it doesn't really seem to keep my palms and undersides of fingers from picking up a lot of color. Maybe I'm putting it on wrong.

My skin tone is fair with an olive cast, and the color of this sunless tanner looks very natural on me - definitely more of a brown than an orange. I look now like I did last year after laying out in the sun for 4 days in Mexico, except without the potential skin damage. I think I will reapply every 5 days until I get back from vacation.

I love being tan. Period. Finding a product that will make me look tan without the damage and investment of time has been a quest until now! I just stumbled on this and thought here goes 1 more try (I have tried many of the products out there with no real luck). This is my experience:
natural looking tan, great scent (why do the others have to stink???)
READ instructions carefully. They are helpful and will avoid many first -time user mistakes. When they tell you to point nozzle in sink or shower, listen to them and my nozzle did spray immediately but I pushed the button 2 times and it stopped, just like they said it would! Also, it takes a minute to learn how to apply evenly but it does work after you quickly get the hang of it.
They thought of everything in the kit from goggles to the cream to avoid dark spots.
Now my only problem is as I foresee using this often, where are my refill options??????????? Should I contact the company directly or can I get them through Drugstore.com? Still looking into that.
Yeah for this product and so happy that I stumbled upon it. Wished I had known about this years ago.....
