This towel is perfect for the gym if yours doesn't offer towel service. Dries very quickly, takes up minimal room in the gym bag. Couldn't be happier!

I DISCOVERED THESE TOWELS ABOUT 15 YEARS AGO AND FELL IN LOVE WITH THEM. I USE THEM AS MY PERSONAL TOWEL ALL THE TIME, THEY ARE WONDERFUL FOR DRYING OFF THE BODY AND EXTREMELY WONDERFUL FOR DRYING THE HAIR, IT REALLY PULLS THE WATER FROM THE HAIR MUCH FASTER THAN ANY OTHER TOWEL I HAVE EVER TRIED (AND I HAVE A TOWEL FETTISH, SO I HAVE TRIED EVERY TYPE TOWEL ON THE MARKET AND THE AQUIS BEATS ALL HANDS DOWN!)..WHEN TRAVELING WITH THESE TOWELS, THEY ARE VERY COMPACT AND DRY EXTREMELY FAST - I WON'T TRAVEL WITH OUT MY AQUIS.AT FIRST SIGHT ONE WOULD THINK THAT THE TOWEL IS VERY THIN AND NOT PLUSH, BUT DON'T LET THAT FOOL YOU - IT IS THIN, BUT IT IS VERY THIRSTY AND YOU WILL BE SURPRISED AT IT'S PERFORMANCE! I've had one of these for about a year. It has performed great for me and is still in great condition. I use it daily when I hop out of the shower. Very absorbent and it does dry fairly quickly which is nice because the ventilation in my bathroom isn't the greatest. I didn't have any of the color bleeding issues someone else mentioned. My girlfriend has been eyeing my towel for awhile now so I just bought one for her - along with an extra for myself to keep in my car just in case - it folds up well and I could put it in my glove compartment if I wanted.

These towels are wonderful. They dry me very quickly, and also dry themselves quickly. They also take little space in my closet. I got rid of all my old towels and bought a bunch of these. They all take the space of one of my former big towels. I love it.

I was a little concerned about the color bleeding because of the earlier reviewer. I soaked them in water for 3 hours and there was no noticable coloration in the water. I have noticed no color bleed at all.

If you're someone who dyes your hair, this is a great towel, because it doesn't show the hair dye stains. It absorbes the water from your hair quickly, so you have less time spent with a hair dryer. I've never had a problem with the blue towel bleeding in the washer. I do, however, wash it with jeans and other dark colors, as you would with any color--- wash with like colors.
I'm on the site today to buy this for two other friends.

Do NOT buy this color in blue. I bought a blue one years ago and it STILL bleeds. Not being able to put blue towel in the washer machine with other items is a big inconvenience. Thus, I hardly use it. I would not recommend this towel in colors to anyone, but I would recommend the white Aquis towels without reservation.

As a person with thick, mid-back hair that holds a LOT of water, I have been thrilled with the microfiber hair towels by Aquis. The fabric is thin and a little stretchy, making it very easy to maneuver. After showering, I can twist my wet hair up, wrap it with the towel & tuck the ends under, and in about ten minutes, enough water has been absorbed to allow me to brush my hair out without getting myself all wet again.
