I have an average sized head and medium length, thick, wavy non-ethnic hair and this towel was way too small...so small that it was painful to use. If I managed to get the loop on the button I couldn't blink my eyes! it absorbs well but nothing magical....about the same as cotton terry.

This absorbs at about the same rate as a typical cotton terry towel- nothing magical about this. But I do love that it is a thinner fabric (not so heavy on my head), is quick to use, holds neatly in a turban style because of the button in the back and loop in the front, and lasts for years. I'd had my previous ones for over seven years and only needed to replace them because they weren't very absorbent anymore (there were no holes or pulled places in them AT ALL). These are very high-quality hair-drying towels, but again, not because they really dry hair faster than another towel out there. I just love being able to my makeup while my hair is completely out of my face, up turban-style, which also gives my hair more time to dry.

I bought these turbans so that when I applied some very expensive hair products, I could leave them in my hair overnight without making a terrible mess. I found the turbans perfect. They absorb the moisture and leave the conditioning product. I also use them after my shower to soak up the extra moisture. Really a great product.

I've tried different hair turbans and this is one of the best! It's absorbent, a good size, made well, and a pretty color, too! After showering I wrap my hair in it and keep it on while applying make-up (it keeps the hair off my face). I don't have to use the hair dryer on my hair for too long because this turban soaks up the water!

I have very thick hair that is shoulder length. I wash my hair every morning; I wear the hair turban and put my eye make up on. Once done I remove the towel and dry my hair with the blow dryer. I spent less time and have less damage to my hair by using the hair turban.

I purchased one of these turbans from bath and body works years ago and I loved it so much and use it daily that it's time to replace it. I didn't throw the old one away, I tucked it into my travel bag and use it on the road. It's that good. I even bought one for my daughter this time and she was pleasantly surprised. I think she thought I was kidding when I told her how good it was.

My ratty old terry turban was falling apart and I found this...works well with my medium length hair.

The product does what it says - but it would be better if it just wrapped around instead of having to button close. it's annoying and I'd rather just use a towel.
