I don't use it for home use. I mostly use it for travel and gym/pool, and sometimes the beach. Its thin, so it doesn't hold the sand as much as normal towels. However, I certainly wouldn't mind using it at home too. Don't think that because its thin, it isn't absorbent or soft. I do agree with other comments that it does stain a bit easier, but not much more that other towels. My biggest gripe is with the cost. I had used the smaller hair towel and it worked out great. I was really excited to find a full-sized body towel! Soft, absorbent, compact, a total necessity for anyone who swims or showers at the health club!

I will start replacing all my big, hard to dry, space gobbling bath towels with these. It absorbs water fast and I do not have to use a second towel for my long hair. It is big enough to wrap up in after bathing. I would appreciate more colors in the selection.

My hair really holds onto moisture, and when I use this towel, my hair is slightly damp and ready to dry after applying my make-up (10-15 minutes). It really cuts down on drying time, and therefore is less damaging to my highlighted hair. Aquis makes a hair towel, but it is too small! This bath towel is the perfect size and weight to twist on top of your head, and it stays! I have 2 towels that I can switch, and have washed them over and over. Microdermabrasion is now becoming very vogue, and rightfully so! This towel not only is super-duper absorbent, but also exfoliates! The waffled microfiber works with water only as a super exfoliator, and smaller cloths are sold over the internet for much more than this. This towel is HUGE and is WELL worth the money it is being sold for. I have just ordered three more of them, and will buy more!
