This is the most effective scrub I've ever purchased. The granules are good size & plentiful. It's not wimpy like some other facial "scrubs" out there where it's mostly cream with a few "beads". You DEFINITELY get your $'s worth w/this scrub.
My dermatologist actually recommended this scrub to me to get rid of deep black heads. I couldn't be more happy! I used to just use Retin A alone but in combination with this scrub, my face has cleared up SO MUCH and my skin tone has evened out quite a bit also.
If you have sensitive skin, maybe try using just a dime sized amount on your skin & just once a week until you build up tolerance to it. I use this scrub 3-4 times a week.
This is the most non-irritating granule scrub I have ever used. I used to use St Ives, but never again. St Ives is very harsh when compared to Arcona, since Arcona doesn't scratch my skin. I use this in the shower since the little scrubbies seem to always get stuck in my hair along the hair line. The sloughing of this scrub is amazing, and I am so happy I tried it and will continue to use it.
Use 2-4 times a week: Apply 1 teaspoon to damp face, neck and decollete in light upward and outward circles. Mix with water to desired consistency. Avoid eye area. Rinse well.
