This is the best cold therapy I've ever used. It's not messy, it's nothing like an ice pack, and it's completely odorless, so you -- and your clothes -- don't smell like you were marinated in menthol.

You can wear it on the field, while you're playing, which is amazing. It's totally flexible, so it moves with you, and when you wrap it, it naturally adheres to itself and stays on. It's like it was made by athletes for athletes.

It's also reusable. Take it off, wet it, roll it up, put it back in the bag & seal it for 10 minutes and it's reactivated.

I received a sample at the Cox RI marathon and it worked great, I ordered a few wraps on line from drugstore.com and the full size wraps were even better! I would highly recommend this product for anyone who wants to stay active. You can do a Figure-8 wrap on a knee and run with the wrap on. I have done this several times now (reusing the same wrap 8 times now) and when I am done with my runs my knee is cold to the touch.This is a great product [...] It has allowed me to stay active with a bad knee and without the mess of ice packs. I am no longer in pain when I run or play with the kids in the yard.

It would have been nice had it not arrived moldy. I'm not sure what happened in the transit time; it might have gotten too hot or been in the warehouse too long, but when I opened the package, a portion of the wrap had some mold on it. I scraped it off and used it once. Hoping it wouldn't reappear, I rinsed out the reusable bag and put the wrap back into it with about a 1Tbsp of water. It sat for about a week and then when I opened it again, to use it again, the mold was back. As a result, I just threw it out.

That being said; it is a good product, when I did use it (once) it did stay nice and cool and was perfect for my knee pain after a long run. I'm pretty sure my experience was rare. The product is perfect to have on hand after a long run or marathon or after lifting at the gym. It's far better than trying to strap bags of frozen peas or ice packs to yourself.

The mold experience has not deterred me from using the product again. I am convinced that it was a fluke accident and will re-order.

After taking it out of the package I unrolled it, per instructions, and applied it to my knee by wrapping it around and adhering it to itself to secure it in place. The SECOND I moved my leg the wet gooey bandage rolled up around itself so that it looked like I had wrapped a 1/4" cable around my leg. I tried unrolling it to start over again but it stayed in that rolled up position and would not return to its original form. Within 3 minutes of taking this out of the package I was throwing it in the garbage. Complete waste of money !

great for first aid kit and sports injuries. can be easily reused. Stays in place and cold for about 4 hours. Just rewrap, reseal and dampen and can be used again.

I used one of these wraps on a banged up foot. The wrap cooled well and there was no swelling. I like the fact that there was no mess or smell. I'm going to keep stocked with these since they are very convenient.

This is a really great idea for a product. Typical icing can be a little too cold and not always convenient. These wraps were easy to use to wrap around my ankle - they were convenient and very "cool" - but not cold. As such, I'm not sure how effective they were from a healing perspective (eg., does an injury need to be iced with very cold treatment in order to be effective? Not sure).

There were some little gel flakes that came off it the wrap (this is basically what you see inside a cold pack that you would put in a lunch box, etc.) but the little flakes weren't a big deal. Also nice that you can reuse these wraps, although I haven't tried that yet.

I recently ran the Newport RI Marathon and got a sample Arctic Ease roll in my goodie bag. This thing saved me , I thought I was not going to be able to run the marathon, wrpped my IT band with this and ran the complete marathon, setting a new PR - I just wrapped it around my swollen IT band and got immediate relief. I put it in a ziploc with a little water overnight and now it's as good as new, cooling my IT band and knee again. Just wrap it around and forget about it.

No loss of mobility, no clips to lose, no latex or adhesive to deal with. I was able to run the marathon - no other product on the market would have allowed me to do this!
