I've tried just about every brand of pet pads on the market for our dog and before I tried these the only ones I found to be acceptable were Nature's Miracle (petsmart and other stores). What I liked about these is that they are much larger then Nature's Miracle so it's hard for your pet to "miss." I find the absorbency to be equal to NM which means that it is acceptable...could possibly absorb a little quicker.
They don't leak at the edges.
As far as smell...we don't have any problems with a urine smell but then again we don't leave these laying around long enough to get one.
The best part is that these are about $4 cheaper then the brand we normally buy.
Overall I'm satisfied.

My 13 year old dog (30 pound mix) developed bladder stones. She's been eating special food to dissolve them plus she's on a diuretic for her heart. Because of this, she started having accidents on the floor. Poor thing, she was wetting on the kitchen floor (smart girl!). I wanted to get her some kind of pads to use, so she wouldn't feel bad and to alleviate some of the cleaning up. I thought I'd give these a shot. She actually went on it this morning (so proud of her!) but when I lifted the pad up, the floor was still soaked. I don't mind cleaning up (I just worry about my girl), but if they promise "Leak resistant liner provides an additional moisture barrier to protect your floors." this is not true. Until the package runs out, I'm going to try using two. I didn't see anywhere that they were a for a specific size dog. Maybe they work well for a tiny dog, but not a medium sized dog like mine. I'll be looking for a different brand if she will continue to need them. Pro: she used it. Con: the floor was really wet under the pad.

Comments about Arm & Hammer Adult Floor Protection Pads with Baking Soda, 36 ea:

My dogs are poddy pad trained, and sometimes, with the smaller pads, they would stand on the pad, but would potty off the edge. My dogs hardly ever go outside now, and I don't have to crate them during the day.

Comments about Arm & Hammer Adult Floor Protection Pads with Baking Soda, 36 ea:

I love this product. The pads are larger than the usual size, so more of the floor area is covered and much easier than using two of the smaller pads. The smell when unfolded is fresh and absorbs most of the doggie odor when used. The only suggestion I have to make this product perfect would be some kind of adhesive to keep the pad in place.

Although the pads are larger than the brand I normally use they are much thinner and the odor absorbancy was not great.

When it's raining like cats and dogs in Seattle, these pads are the best solution for me. Baking soda helps with odor & the smell for attracting her to the pad works perfectly. She has not messed up my floor, not even once.
