I've tried just about every brand of pet pads on the market for our dog and before I tried these the only ones I found to be acceptable were Nature's Miracle (petsmart and other stores). What I liked about these is that they are much larger then Nature's Miracle so it's hard for your pet to "miss." I find the absorbency to be equal to NM which means that it is acceptable...could possibly absorb a little quicker.
They don't leak at the edges.
As far as smell...we don't have any problems with a urine smell but then again we don't leave these laying around long enough to get one.
The best part is that these are about $4 cheaper then the brand we normally buy.
Overall I'm satisfied.

My 13 year old dog (30 pound mix) developed bladder stones. She's been eating special food to dissolve them plus she's on a diuretic for her heart. Because of this, she started having accidents on the floor. Poor thing, she was wetting on the kitchen floor (smart girl!). I wanted to get her some kind of pads to use, so she wouldn't feel bad and to alleviate some of the cleaning up. I thought I'd give these a shot. She actually went on it this morning (so proud of her!) but when I lifted the pad up, the floor was still soaked. I don't mind cleaning up (I just worry about my girl), but if they promise "Leak resistant liner provides an additional moisture barrier to protect your floors." this is not true. Until the package runs out, I'm going to try using two. I didn't see anywhere that they were a for a specific size dog. Maybe they work well for a tiny dog, but not a medium sized dog like mine. I'll be looking for a different brand if she will continue to need them. Pro: she used it. Con: the floor was really wet under the pad.

My only complaint is if dog urinates close to the edge, the product allows for leakage next to and under the pad. I wish the edges were more absorbent.

I hate fleas, and chemicals you have to put on animals to walk them outdoors.I haven't had a flea problem since I switched from leash walks to indoor potty rituals that include play, and rewards.

I have used several brands for my Shih Tzu and tried these because they were less expensive. I like them because they are large. She seems to search for her spot longer, so not sure the "odor attraction" added is truly sufficient, but she does end up using it. They absorb for her, but I can imagine for a larger dog, they may not.

At first I thought that I received a bad batch of pads, so against my better judgment I order another package. Were my initial thoughts correct........NO! I could have arranged dollar bills on the floor and they would have done a better job. As you can see I am not on the positive side of the bus, with these pads. Adding that a Corp. as big as A&H's big daddy is, you would figure that a bit more R&D would have made their claims of the product, TRUE. As stated by another consumer, I had to put a double layer to eliminate the urine from seeping through. Oh, I have 1 Yorky(Abby) and 1 Pomeranian (Jack), Their piddles are about 2 tablespoons, go figure. I see that some buyers are pleased with the product, maybe it's the elevation of where they live ? I will not buy these...........AGAIN.
