It works! I don't use any other type of teeth whiteners--my dentist thought I was lying when I told him that. I don't have naturally bright, white teeth so this is awesome! I use w/a sonic toothbrush. I'll deal with the taste, which isn't as bad at the baking soda toothpaste of the past. Give a tube a try...you won't regret it.

I would like this better without fluoride. We have fluoride in our water, and don't need so many chemicals in our lives.

Drugstore.com used to be the only place you could find the now discountinued Liquid Calcium-containing Age Defying toothpaste. This is NOT the same product, but it does contain Liquid Calcium. It's one of very few fluoride toothpastes that do -- the only other I've found is a UK Arm and Hammer product targeting sensitive teeth.

One major ingredient missing as compared to the old Age Defying toothpaste is glycerin, and you can notice the change in the consistency of the toothpaste right away. Age Defying was much smoother. Glycerin also has antimicrobial, moisturizing and anti-inflammatory properties.

Arguably, however, this product is better. Peroxide makes up for the loss of glycerin's anti-microbial effect, and on the whole Enamel Strengthening toothpaste leaves my mouth feeling fresher, longer. Although this branding does not advertise a reduction in sensitivity, other liquid calcium products do, and since I started using it I have noticed I'm far more tolerant to Ice Cream and cold drinks.

I read about this enamel strengthening toothpaste years ago when it was invented by an individual not associated with a large toothpaste company. The product was sold to Arm & Hammer and I've continued to use it since. The enamel strengthening results from enamel being deposited and becoming part of the tooth. Fantastic stuff!
