This is my new favorite toothpaste. It foams up beautifully and gets into all the tiny and hard to reach spots between teeth. The flavor is minty with a slight salt/sweet tang. I love it!

I used this toothpaste twice a day and liked the subtle taste and the way it felt while brushing. But, it left a somewhat salty unpleasant aftertaste that never seemed to go away and it turned my tongue black. Apparently, the peroxide in it can react with the body chemistry of some people, leaving them with "black tongue."

I have used this toothpaste many years ago and stopped. I have been using this with my Philips Sonicare toothbrush and I feel like I have come from the dentist. I think this will be my constant choice form now on but I would like to try Toms of Maine and compare.

I recently purchased this product after hearing about the whitening powers of hydrogen peroxide + baking soda. So far, I love it! The taste is a bit salty but it's definitely not as bad as some of the other reviews here make it out to be. I use it daily now and I haven't had a problem with it. Very good toothpaste.

I wanted to try a toothpaste with baking soda for cleaner breath. While it does do a great job, the taste is horrible. It's bitter with a sickly aftertaste. I'll just stick with my peppermint Tom's of Maine.

My teeth are inherently unhealthy so I really have to make an effort to brush thoroughly, and this toothpaste basically does half of it for me. (The other half is an electric toothbrush.) I have never had teeth feel so clean from toothpaste alone, even on nights when I don't use my electric toothbrush and therefore don't do as thorough of a brushing. I also notice that my morning breath isn't nearly as bad as it used to be since using this toothpaste.
It doesn't taste good (it's salty!) so that could easily be an issue for some - I really didn't like it at first, to be honest, but clean teeth is more important so I kept using it, and now I'm just used to it and don't notice it at all.
I also notice that it feels hot (?!) in my mouth sometimes - not a burning sensation, but definitely warm. Odd. Not a big deal, either.
The only real downside I find is that it makes some of my teeth incredibly sensitive, to both hot and cold, so that's pretty irritating. But I'll still keep using it to earn praise from my dentist, which is all I live for.

I wanted to try a baking soda toothpaste after being a loyal Crest user for over 25 years. I have to say, I'm not fond of the taste while brushing; however, the aftertaste/feel/clean is excellent! It leaves me feeling confident and like I just came from the dentist. I will buy again.

Some people compain about the taste, but I am brushing my teeth to keep them CLEAN, not make my mouth taste good! I tell those people to go get a piece of gum.
