When you brush your mouth with this it makes your teeth feel clean. When you brush your tongue with this it makes your breath- so much better, as the baking soda really neutralize bad breath. Kinda gritty which is a bonus as this helps to make your teeth cleaner. Taste is very minty but not overly so... not one of those "hot" feeling toothpastes, but it feels just right.

I got this for free in a travel size from arm & hammer's website after seeing a commercial for it and it's one of the best toothpastes I've ever used. it really does work very well. I love how clean it makes my teeth feel. it also doesn't burn my mouth to an extreme extent like colgate total (what I usually use) does. it could be just because it's a paste, as opposed to a gel (what I usually use) and maybe that's the reason why I like it so much but I do plan on buying a regular sized tube to see. I don't know about the whitening factor, yet, though. the two things that I really dislike about this toothpaste, and the reasons why I only rated it 4 stars, are: 1) it has no triclosan, so it's not antigingivitis and 2) it's not approved by the ADA, which bothers me & I usually don't use any toothpastes or gels that aren't ADA approved. other than those 2 factors, I definitely recommend it and like I said, I plan on getting a regular sized tube, myself, sometime soon.

I have been using this product for a month until it used up. A few minutes after using EACH time-so thats 2ce a day every day- a dusgusting mucusy residue forms all over my mouth and i have to peel it off and it's really nasty. At first I thought that my skin in my mouth was peeling, but then I realized it only happens after I brush. I just purchased the other arm n hammer toothpaste that I usually use (peroxide and mint)and i did not have any residue. I know for a fact that it was the toothpaste that was the issue for me. Am I the only one that had this problem???Nothing like this ever happened before and I'm really curious to know if it happened to anyone else.

The taste was hard to get used to at first after being used to minty-sweet toothpaste my whole life. However, once we gave it a chance, my husband and I actually prefer this stuff. It really leaves our teeth feeling clean. I would say out of the Arm & Hammer flavors we have tried the "Fresh Mint" has the better taste.

I love, love, love this toothpaste. I actually hadn't planned on buying it; I ran out of my Tom's Natural and decided to give this a try because it was on sale. I'm so glad I did. It really cleans your teeth and mouth well. I love the gritty texture, like an extra "exfoliant" for your mouth. The taste is wonderful (but I like the taste of baking soda so most may not agree with me). I will probably be using this toothpaste for a long time.

I use this product everyday 2x a day and the results are good but not great, let me explain.

I am a starbucks coffee fan and those vanilla frappucinos really stain my teeth on account of all that sugar and coffee =\

This toothpaste almost always removes those stains within the first use and it reduced the yellowness by 40% which is a huge win on that part...

but after that it doesnt whiten anymore it just keeps the same appearance like a dim white color after 2 weeks it was still the same color..

and plus it tastes like salty mints which is a terrible taste but i tolerate it... you get used to it

Bottom line i would recommend it if you drink coffee or smoke

didn't notice whitening

I would wake up every night from the pain it was causing me in my mouth

I would cry every time I would eat something because of the pain it would cause me and the pain would go all the way up to my head and hurt my head badly

didn't like the powerful mint taste

It felt like my teeth were breaking down and I was biting tiny parts of them.
