I have been using this product for over a year now. It provides a reasonable amount of odor control without the harsh aluminum chemicals in the other formulations on the market. It's not perfect and it doesn't last quite as long as I would like, but no one is complaining about my smell (believe me, MY family would sure let me know!), so I have to assume it is doing its job in a natural, safe, healthy way. My only complaint is that over time a hard residue builds up in the armpits of my undershirts that cannot be washed out, but that might be because of me applying too much. I have started using a little less and the problem so far is not appearing on my new group of undershirts.

This stuff needs to be discontinued and A&H needs to go back to the drawing board. When I first started using it, I developed a rash and moderate itching. It offers no odor control and I reek by the end of the day. The unscented version has a slight acidic citrus/chemical smell that is mildly irritating..not a pleasant at all.

The good: It works. I can trust it for daily use. My husband uses it, too. If I try something new and get stinky, a swipe of this takes care of it without showering. The Unscented is not odorless, but it has a nice orange peel scent, which is nice and unisex.
The bad: It won't help with perspiration; not even a little bit. And it's sticky and never really dries. Once you start sweating, you have to towel dry before reapplying, or it won't adhere. Also, if you're sweating heavily, such as in extreme heat or hard physical activity, it won't hold up. You'll still stink. Even if you reapply. So don't use this in 100 degree heat while doing construction; I tried that and it wasn't pretty. Also, it contains some ingredients I'm not a fan of: Parabens, Propylene Glycol, and Triclosan.
The bottom line: I've tried ten different natural deodorants, and this is my daily product.

I bought this as a natural alternative. I've tried crystals and other aluminum free sticks and they weren't effective. This lasts quite awhile. It isn't an antiperspirant, so it doesn't really stop sweat. But it is pretty effective as a deodorant.

Although the product is described as "unscented," what that means is that there's no perfume in it. There are various plant extracts that add scent, so it's actually a pretty heavily scented item. Whoever called this unscented is a great big liar. I only wish I didn't have to pay return shipping for something that is so totally different from its description!

If you are looking for an unscented and natural deodorant, look somewhere else! This product has a very misleading label and description.

Not Unscented: The product has a very noticeable citrus-like smell and should not be labeled as unscented.

Not Natural: This product contains the ingredient triclosan and should not be considered 'natural.' According to the Environmental Working Group, triclosan is linked to liver and inhalation toxicity and may disrupt thyroid function. In addition, wastewater treatment does not completely remove the chemical and triclosan is toxic to aquatic life.

Do yourself a favor and seek out a different deodorant.

This product is recommended by oncologists for women undergoing radiation therapy for breast cancer, and since it is Paraben-free and Aluminum-free it is a mind reliever regarding the posible effects of those ingredients. (Do a search for 'aluminum/anti-perspirants and Alzheimers' and/or 'paraben/anti-perspirants and breast cancer' for some thought provoking information.)

Not an antiperspirant, so if that is what you are looking for - this wouldn't be it. But it is a fantastic deodorant.
