Over the years I have owned and used many electric tooth brushes. I feel this brush is as effective as some rechargeables costing much more. I have been able use a relatively cheap alkaline battery that then lasts a long time without worrying about where to plug in another recharging appliance.
Please note - this is not the brush that has a spinning tip - personally I don't find them as effective. This is the 'sonic' brush whose bristles vibrate at a high frequency.
If there is any 'con' in my opinion, it might be battery installation. It takes a little more effort than maybe it should and the way the battery door opens is a little counter-intuitive.

The angle of this brush allows it to work much better than other battery powered brush.

I like the following:
Batteries are replaceable
Bristles indicate when they need replacement head
Replacement heads are available
Does a good job in cleaning teeth.

Bought two brushes. One brush quit charging after less than 6 months of use. The other brush still working. So my experience is a 50% failure rate within 6 months. Cannot find any warranty info online, but doubt the warranty is for more than 90 days.

I believes this brush is an upgrade over hand brushing. However lower your expectations as the brush head is too bulky to take it to all the places in your mouth. But as a battery powered, take it anywhere device as i roam my hotel room, it works very well.

THis is an excellent toothbrush, getting my teeth very clean and getting into hard to reach places. It leaves my gums feeling fresh without being too harsh.
