Because I'd read the other reviews, I was very careful with this product: I didn't expose it to water and took the brush head off after every use to let all the components dry out. It still quit running after about 1 1/2 months. The motor just plain died. While disappointing and wasteful, this was not a "break the bank" product. It works great while it operates - it was the only thing that actually whitened my teeth (White Strips did not). So even though it's silly to have to do this and I feel bad encouraging such waste, I just stocked up on a few. At [$] a pop, it won't kill me financially.

I've had mine since they came out and change the heads as needed. I'm sure the others out there are comparable in quality - I tried another brand and did not like it as much as the Crest SpinBrush... In fact, I'm back to buy replacement heads. Rock on, Crest!

I have bought two of these brushes. I love the way they work, but they break too quickly. Neither one of them has lasted longer than three months (the package says to replace the heads every three to four months...think about it) The first one was great for a while, but water got into the battery compartment and caused the batteries to leak. I blamed it on myself and bought a new one. I was extra careful not to get the bottom wet, which is interesting to do considering it is a product that is made to be used around water. How do you rinse off your saliva without getting it wet??? This second one now has a problem where I cannot get the battery compartment to fit back inside the brush! Even with the batteries not inside it, the compartment will not snap all the way in, so it won't turn on. On the other hand, my boyfriend bought his at the same time that I bought my first one, and his is still going strong. I going to buy a different brand next time.

At first it was great, but the time it takes to change the battery is awful. My husband helped me because it required a lot of strength with no way to grip and pull. Next time, for same reason, it was worse. Even my husband had a problem. This is a sad outcome, due to the fact that there are people with arthritis and want to have a convenient toothbrush of this type. Oral-B has a product that is very easy to make changes and I have switched to that.

I recently upgraded my Spinbrush Pro to the Spinbrush Pro Whitening and in only one week of use, I can already see some whitening results. This is a great toothbrush and is a bargain when compared to other battery or electric powered toothbrushes.

This is my favorite of all the power brushes I have used. It is very powerful and my teeth feel very clean after I use it.
