It's slick enough for a razor (recommend Gillette Phenom) to easily glide across and helps to moisturize the area. It is a bit sticky, but most women shave while showering or bathing, so it washes off. I personally use this technique between laser hair removal sessions (best hair removal option), follow up with Tend Skin to aid in prevention of ingrown hairs and finish off with Aquaphor ointment after both laser hair removal sessions and after interim shaving sessions. I used this little trick for many years before I decided to go with laser hair removal for permanent hair removal, but it does take about 6-10 sessions for permanent removal, so a lady does need to shave between sessions.
