I've been a fan of the shakes for some time. The last 4 pack was the "new & improved" version of the Vanilla Shake. This was really thick, really really thick. Couldn't bring myself to drink but didn't notice a bad smell. Opened one more and found the same thing. I could tell from shaking the other two, they were the same. Has anyone else made this observation, or maybe I just got a bad batch?

I tried the old ones and the new ones and think they are both amazing! The improvement is spectacular, and I would be very disappointed if they go back to the old version.I drink one of these every day, sometimes in place of breakfast if I am in a rush, but usually as an afternoon snack. They truly get me through the day. This is a wonderful product that I will continue to buy them for years to come.

I use these Atkins shakes as a meal replacement 3-4 times a week. This is my favorite chocolate flavor (well, maybe it's a toss up between the Chocolate Mocha Latte and this...). I throw it in the blender with some ice cubes. Makes it thick and takes forever to eat. Really fills me up and it's satisfying. Thanks, Atkins!

I like this flavor, don't care for any of the other ones. Make sure it's really cold, tastes the best that way. They are very filling which is great

I am a huge fan of Atkins products. My daughter and I use them every day. I was eager to try the new & improved Dark Chocolate shakes, but I was actually disppointed with the change in taste. It had an artifical flavor and a nasty aftertaste. Unfortunately, I will have to stick with the milk chocolate and mocha flavors. There isn't a store near me that carries the caramel flavor and the strawberry and vanilla are unappealing to me. Sorry Atkins, but I do not like the new taste at all!

This product tastes so good. Low on carbs, which is good for diabetics. I drink it before going to bed. My sugar levels do not go high at all. It's like drinking chocolate milk. Yummy!

I had a gastric bypass and this product not only tastes great (wonderful dark chocolate flavor), but it is full of the protein I need. I take one to work to sip during a break or while I work. I have also grabbed one when I don't have time for breakfast and sip it in the car. It makes an ideal supplement to my new way of eating/living!

I have only tried these and the milk chocolate shakes from Atkins and find them both very tasty. I never tried an earlier form of the shakes as the other reviewer did, but I couldn't disagree more about the current formulation. I'm grateful for the product and came to the website to order more. I am a diabetic and show very little blood sugar rise from these--though that's an individeual thing.
