My husband uses one bar a day of this as a laxative to avoid another diverticulitis attack. He used to use Metamucil, but says this tastes like a Mounds bar. The sugar alcohol maltitol used in these bars causes a laxative effect in many people. If this product is new to you, I advise eating just one the first day until you see how your digestive system handles it. It also contains Sucralose, which some people might want to avoid.

These were really yummy. Tasted just like Almond Joy! Problem is they totally threw off my weight loss. I was doing great until I incorporated these bars, so I can't use them. :( If they work for you then I would definitley say go for it. Those of you like me who are weight loss resistant should beware though.
