It does have a distinct odour, but that's just because nothing is covered up by colours and perfumes. I love how it leaves my skin clean but not stripped and lacking moisture. It doesn't foam-up well, even in very soft water, but this is to be expected from a body wash lacking true soap. I would recommend to anyone with occasional flare-ups and those looking to prevent further worsening of their skin condition.
Bought this because I love the Atopalm Intensive moisturizing cream. I tried using this in the shower as a body wash, but I would have needed to use way too much at a time to feel clean, so I started using it just on my rosacea (upper back and face). It stings and burns. I don't mean, 'oh, that's uncomfortable' stinging, but 'OW, that HURTS' stinging.
And while I can't prove cause and effect, I've gotten a much worse outbreak than I've had in a long time. It could have happened spontaneously, but the timing causes me to suspect the body wash. I won't buy it again, though I'll continue to get the cream.
I have chronically dry and sensitive skin, especially in the winter. I've tried any number of body cleansers but have always come back to Atopalm. It cleans; has no fragrance (unpleasant or otherwise); and is VERY mild.
