It doesn't lather into a foamy mess like typical sulfate (detergent) -containing shampoos, but I was expecting this. Just because it doesn't suds up like usual shampoos do, does not mean it doesn't get your hair clean - we are just conditioned to think tons of suds and bubbles = clean. This shampoo is clear, gel-like in consistency. My hair is shoulder blade - length and a silver dollar sized amount seems to do the trick. I need a little more of natural shampoo that I would need of the "nasty" stuff, but I don't mind - it's worth it to not be putting chemicals in my hair. I would suggest lathering it up well in your hands before working through your hair. As for the honeysuckle scent, I like it. It's a sweet, florally smell (which I usually don't care for much), but it's subtle and once hair is dry, you can really only smell it if you're intentionally sniffing your hair. VS Most Liked Negative Review Seems too harsh This shampoo is all natural, which is great. Strangely, it smells chemical-ly to me (like the conditioner, but more). To me, it feels like the shampoo is too harsh. You can tell that it strips the moisture from your hands when you use it, so I can't imagine how it is for your hair. Maybe it's the glycerin? That being said, my hair doesn't seem any worse off for using it, but it doesn't seem better either. Comments about Aubrey Organics Honeysuckle Rose Moisturizing Shampoo, Dry Brittle, 11 fl oz: I wanted to try a sulfate free shampoo. I shampoo every day and my hair is damaged from bleach. It is fine and slightly wavy. I didn't realize how good my hair could look and feel until I switched to this shampoo. After a week of use, my hair is softer and shinier. Doesn't feel like straw anymore.

Comments about Aubrey Organics Honeysuckle Rose Moisturizing Shampoo, Dry Brittle, 11 fl oz: Let me tell you about my hair first. It is shoulder blade length, color treated, fuzzy, frizzy and just enough curl to look like a chia pet in humidity. No joke lol. I have literally tried almost every shampoo and conditioner on the market. From the cheap Suave, to the expensive brands at [@], to the high-end at my salon. I discovered that the more it said that it moisturized, the worst my hair became. It was brittle, crunchy, unmanageable and just plain awful.I also went as far and trying a home remedy of mayo, egg and castrol oil. Way too heavy and oily. I decided to try the organic route. After reading all of the reviews on this product, I decided to give it a try. It wasn't near as expensive as other products that I had already tried, so why not, right??I seriously think I have found the solution that I have been searching for!!! The shampoo really cleans the hair, leaving it squeaky. It did seem to really strip my hair, but when I put the conditioner on....OMG, my hair has not been this soft in years, and this is the very first time I have used it. Some of the reviews stated that it has an awful smell. It does not smell of honeysuckle, but more like a tanning oil. Its not unpleasant though. I think with continued use, my hair will continue to improve. **fingers crossed**Give it a try, what have you got to lose?? :)

Best Uses Comments about Aubrey Organics Honeysuckle Rose Moisturizing Shampoo, Dry Brittle, 11 fl oz: This the first shampoo I've used that doesn't lather, and it might need getting used to. But that doesn't bother me too much, knowing that it doesn't have those ingredients that cause shampoos to lather. It also has a strange, thin consistency. I've used this and the matching conditioner for 2 days, and I've gotten dandruff. But I have a feeling it's because of the conditioner.

Comments about Aubrey Organics Honeysuckle Rose Moisturizing Shampoo, Dry Brittle, 11 fl oz: Great shampoo. Lathers well. Smells amazing, even after you've dried & styled your hair. Must use a conditioner afterwards because it cleans so thoroughly. Non-toxic ingredients. Love it!

Comments about Aubrey Organics Honeysuckle Rose Moisturizing Shampoo, Dry Brittle, 11 fl oz: unfortunately, I have had a run in with dandruff that I have had to treat with nizoral. So, my hair isn't exclusively on this product. When it was, my hair responded really really well. I didn't need any hair product at all to make my waves separate.

Best Uses Comments about Aubrey Organics Honeysuckle Rose Moisturizing Shampoo, Dry Brittle, 11 fl oz: I found that I am allergic to shampoos and conditioners containing a long list of chemicals . Aubrey Organics is the first shampoo and conditoner I have tried that has not caused any adverse reaction to my scalp or skin. True to it's name it is Organic. It may be more expensive but a small amount goes a long way. I highly recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a chemical free product for the hair.

Comments about Aubrey Organics Honeysuckle Rose Moisturizing Shampoo, Dry Brittle, 11 fl oz: This is a great product - I've switched to this from Pantene. After the 3rd time using it, my hair's health had really improved and didn't have any residue build up left on it. Highly recommend you use with the matching conditioner for really shiny, mangeable hair. My daughter's thick, dry hair is almost impossible to keep from matting but this product really works wonders and she loves it. Leave conditioner in for a few minutes for great conditioning.
