This is a great aftershave--I don't have much experience with other aftershaves since I'm a young guy, but it closes the pores, soothes the skin, and the (fairly strong) woodsy smell dissipates to a comfortable level very quickly. Awesome product, and truly all natural and vegan!

I use this after shaving with the North Woods Shave Cream. It smells great (natural and not over powering), I have no irritation after using it, and all the ingredients look safe!

My wife got this for me because I have a strong aversion to perfume smells (including pretty much all other after-shave products). At first, it seemed a bit "forest-y" to me, but I've gotten used to it and decided I really like it. It has a lower-key, natural smell and feel than other after shaves, like you're putting something on your face that actually exists in nature, as opposed to something that exists only in a chemistry lab. It does not sting as much as most after-shaves, but also does not seal the pores quite as well. One might say it gives half the pore-sealing at half the sting. The smell is short-lived compared to other, stronger after shaves. Basically, it is a mild product that goes on easy, doesn't offend, dissipates fairly quickly, and does most of what an after shave is supposed to do. I just find it does a good job without that awful artificial perfume type of smell that I cannot stand. The smell takes a few usages of to get used to, but it did grow on me. It is now the only after shave I use, and I hope it remains popular so that they continue making it so I can continue to get it.

This is clean and refreshing! It is cooling and bracing yet with very little burning. The aroma is like no other. It isn't perfume-ish, but instead, is truly fresh like a pine forest...NATURALLY, not in a fake and manufactured way. I had no breakout issues with this product, as I usually do with others. Nice ingredients in this one, too! Love it and will buy it again!
