I shave every day with a Merkur double edge safety razor. This shave cream works great with this razor or a regular disposable razor. I can pronounce all the ingredients and after my shave it rinses off clean without any sticky or overly moisturized feeling. Highly recommend!

Much better than foam in that, while it softens whiskers and lubes the skin , I can also *see* the whiskers through this creme as I launch my attack with the razor. White foam hides the enemy; I launch my attack blind.

The white foam is also messier, and gets in my beard, on my glasses, on my collar, etc., where it doesn't belong. Much better application control with the Aubrey Organics stuff, though it *does* clog my razor. Unlike white foam, the clogs this stuff causes don't clear by briskly rinsing the razor under water; I have found, however, that an old toothbrush nicely addresses the problem.

Costlier than alternatives, but I don't shave every day and, near as I can tell, the smaller amounts of Aubrey that are required (compared to white faom) may mean it'll last longer than a can of white cream. Time will tell.

All in all, hands down I'll stick with this product rather than go back to white foam. I like the scent it leaves with me, too.

This shave cream works well and it is one of the better non-lathering shave creams. If you want a lathering cream then this is not for you. It numbs the face well and is slick if you use enough water. It can clog the blades if you use a multiple blade razor, but if you bounce the razor head in the water it falls off pretty easily. I generally use a single edge razor and have no problem with clogs. Because of the camphor,the initial smell of the cream is similar to Vick's Vapo rub, the smell fades away relatively quickly though. If you like non-lathering shave creams I recommend that you try this product.

Gives a little too "cold" feeling on the face, probably because of the menthol oil. You know how those menthol cough drops feel very "cold" in your mouth? Imagine the same feeling on half of your face. Does not form lather or foam, just a thin "film". The shaved hair clogs the razor, and does not wash out under running water. I suspect that's because of a lack of lather. I liked their hair gel though.
