i bought this oil to freshen up my apartment. i burn it on a burner but however it never lasted. i understand that eucalyptus oil is very light based so i do not have complaints about it. I hope to find a better concentrated oil that can give me lasting refreshing scent everytime i go home.

I have a wood burning stove which I keep a pot of water on. I put the oil in the pot. It helps open my sinuses and wakes me up. I was given a candle that did this, but I didn't want the wax in the water pot. So I looked for the oil. The drugstore had the best price and makes no mess.

I use this in a facial steamer when I have a cold or sinus infection. It seems to cut the duration of both for me whan I use it regularly. Great for an aromatic energy boost as well.

Eucalyptus oil has been around for ages and has many uses. For general household cleaning: In a standard spray bottle, add a squirt of dishwashing liquid and about a teaspoonful of eucalyptus oil to a quart of water, then spray on floors, counters, appliances, finger-marks, etc., wipe and rinse. Add a drop or two to your cat's litter box to remove odors. In the bathroom: add several drops to the water in the toilet bowl, wash as usual and flush; add a few drops to your cleaning sponge (such as a "magic eraser" type) and wipe stains from the sink and tub; add a drop or two to garbage pails to disinfect and deodorize. In the laundry room: add several drops to your laundry to deodorize linen and clothing and to destroy dust mites from bedding. For personal use: Place a few drops in a humidifier as a decongestant for children and adults; use as a massage oil (add to your regular massage oil to loosen tight muscles and ease sore joints); sprinkle a few drops on your mattress pad when you are changing your sheets (it's been proven to destroy dust mites and will help to deodorize your mattress).

Wet a face cloth and put in microwave to heat up then put a drop of the oil on the cloth and breathe in the vapors....works well to clear up sinus.

Every year I get an infection in my lungs and cough and cough, and rattle. Antibiotics help, but the side effects are awful. A friend told me to get eucalyptus oil and sniff it. I started with sniffing, straight from the bottle. After some research I bought a vicks personal inhaler, put several drops in it and inhaled deeply several times/day or as needed. My lungs burned at first, but I found it helped my sinuses and my lungs; so much better than the antibiotics. I like this product so much I bought 6 bottles and gave some to friends. This is a good buy and is cheaper than at my local stores.
