After reading the great reviews, I was excited to try Aussie Tizz No Frizz gel since my usual gel wasn't available. Within a few days of using it, my hair was so dry it felt like straw. If I could have given this product "0" stars, I would have.

I love this stuff and have used it for a number of years. It is hard to find in stores but easy at this site. Just "a little dab will do ya"! Don't use too much as it can weigh down your hair.
This product will also help those with long easily tangled hair, comb will glide right through.

My hair isn't frizzy, but straight and fine. This product adds volume without being sticky or stiff. It's the best styling gel I've ever used.

My hair is not frizzy, therefore I am happy. I'm not big on 5 star reviews, but this product is close for me. Just for fun, I put in a lot of this gel today (about a small palmful) because I wanted to slick my curls down a bit for a change. Worked great. I am surprised that my hair doesn't have that shiny wet look that most gels give me. The hold is nicely "medium" - not too stiff but not wimpy either. I think it also works using less gel to get more softness and curl enhancement, particularly with a bit of leave-in conditioner or curl creme under it (see the end of this review for more about curl care). The scent is little stronger than I would like. I would like none, but that's not very likely, is it? In soaking wet hair I don't really notice the smell much, but I do notice it more when it's drying. It's definitely much less candy-like than the other Aussie products (thank goodness), more perfume-y (more grown-up). Using less gel than I did would mean less scent (I know, duh).I really like that this gel has very few ingredients, the fewest I've seen in a gel in a long time. A lot of gels are too greasy for me, since they have glycerin, aloe vera, oil, or some kind of silicone (things that end in -cone or -xane) in them. They build on my hair fast and make me break out on my hair and jawline. So gross. This gel is not oily. It even rinses out very clean, so I can use it again by wetting my hair and not washing with shampoo (curly hair is often dry, so less - or even no - shampooing is really good). Maybe people who who don't like this gel could try using it in a few different ways. I mean, it might not be for you, but then again styling products take some experimenting, so don't give up right away. For me, any gel works best when I put it in soaking wet hair, work it through with my fingers, twist a few curls around my fingers for definition, and then *don't touch the hair until it is totally dry.* That last part is crucial if you have curly hair. This did not work at all. That saying, "You get what you pay for" is really true w/ this product!
For under 4 dollars, you get this huge tube. DING! Not a good thing when talking about hair care products.

I tried to like this as my hair is super frizzy. No matter if I use hair dryer or let air dry. I gave "tizz no frizz" 3 times. All 3 times it failed to do the job described. It didn't help me comb through my hair after using like it should. It didn't calm the frizzes like it said it would. And it had no "hold" to it like described.

Yes, I used the proper amount and followed directions to use on damp hair. Just for kicks I tried it on my dry frizzy hair. No go.
Another disappointment...
One star = not impressed. What an understatement.

I love this gel! I have fine, wavy, highlighted hair and used salon quality products for years until I tried Aussie, which I have been using for a year now. Aussie makes my hair so manageable and healthy. This gel is perfect; it feels very flexible and soft in my hair but actually holds quite well, with NO stickiness. Now for the first time I can use a diffuser without my hair frizzing out and it even works when I straighten my hair. I use it over the catch the wave mousse. The taming milk works well with it too.

This gel is very hard to find. It is the only gel I can use that doesn't cause some sort of reaction from my scalp. It is water soluble so great for a guy on the go, The frizzier my hair gets the more I add, and it combs out soft. I LOVE this stuff. Glad I could find it here.

Ehh, ok. It smells good, but my hair still had tons of frizz. I would recommend Herbal Essences Set Me Up gel.
