My son has very sensitive skin and this is one of only 2 products I have found that don't cause horrible rashes (and I tried a lot). Both of my children (ages 4 and 6) are very fair skinned and the protection offered is just fine - no sunburns. It is a little more difficult to rub in than other brands, but it will still rub in. I have had no issues with staining.

Thought I found some sunscreen without any formalehyde or Diazolidinylurea as preservatives, but it didn't provide UV protection. As previously stated it is difficult to rub in.

I bought this product in hopes it would be a great sunscreen. I have a caramel complexion and it did not rub in well. It left a white film on my skin and would not rub in. The texture is not creamy, but a little sticky and pasty. I think this sunscreen would work best for fair skinned people.

Great product. It took me a while to decide which product to settle on taking price and spf into consideration among the natural baby sunscreen. It covers well and rubs in well, just wish it came in higher spf.

Fantastic product. I had no problem rubbing it in on my 11 month old & it protects her nicely. I use it myself and have had none of the problems I saw people mention where it stains clothes or won't come of in the shower. It seems to easily come off for me, and is easy to rub in. A little goes a long way. love it.

This is the only sunscreen I've found that doesn't make my three-year-old's skin break out. I've tried Aveeno, Nature's Gate, etc. Baby Avalon Organics is missing whatever ingredient it is that's causing irritation. So I'm sticking with it!

I bought this because I liked the fact that it is all natural and no animal testing was involved. I never buy from companies who do animal testing, if at all possible. I wore this sunscreen while standing for 12 hours in a theme park in full sunlight and did not burn. However, I am only giving 3 stars because the product will not absorb fully into the skin. I was wearing a black t-shirt and had white streaks all over it where my arms touched the sides of the shirt. I had to use a body scrub in the shower to get the residue from my skin. It simply would not come off any other way. I would not purchase this again due to the absorbency problem. As a sunscreen it worked great and it did not irritate my skin, but I was embarrassed over the streaking. It was also difficult to get the product off my shirt in the wash.

I love this sunscreen. I just wish it had a higher SPF. I have used it on myself and my son. I reapply every 60 minutes and haven't had any trouble with him burning or loosing all its effectiveness in the water. If you use too much or get too much on one area it is hard to rub in, but I apply it in dots like my foundation not like body lotion and have no troubles getting clear, even coverage. It is nice because you can apply it 30 minutes prior to getting in the sun, but you don't have to because it is a physical sunscreen unlike chemical ones. I am very sensitive to sunscreens and cannot use zinc oxide and this one works for me, even on my face. My son can ONLY use this one on his face too. Others sting his eyes or skin.
