I started using Avalon's Biotin Shampoo for a few days before using this conditioner. I could tell once I put the conditioner on my hair it wasn't going to work, it's just impossible to work through. I've used other natural conditioners before, but I've never experienced a consistency like this. It made my hair impossible to comb out, even when I started using a detangling spray. I have to throw it away, unfortunately, because it's just not a conditioner at all.

I have been moving to more and more natural products and since I have thinning hair I gave this a try. I've been using it for about a month and I don't like it. I don't like how it makes my hair smell and can't leave my hair down because of it. I don't like the texture it leaves my hair making it harder to comb. I had to use a lot of the conditioner to feel like it was giving any moisture to my hair and afterwards it still felt like straw. Adding to that I feel like it makes my scalp itch - am I allergic to it, possibly. I'm donating almost full bottles and going back to Organix. This was a mistake.

Great product, does what it says, adds thickness and doesn't contain any sulfates. In about a week it already has made my widows peak less noticeable. Because it doesn't have sodium laureth sulfate you can use it daily and it won't damage your hair. For someone who goes running daily and gets sweaty that is a big plus.

I like using earth friendly, non-toxic products, but this one is like putting water on your hair. For the price I wouldn't buy it...even if it was on sale (which is why I bought it in the first place.)

This thickening conditioner used to be perfect combined with the shampoo. I received so many compliments on a daily base and believe me I have messed with my hair big time. Bleached, colored, cut, straightened etc....Now Avalon changed the formula and it DOES ABSOLUTELY NOTHING anymore for my hair. What is going on with Avalon? Are they going cutting corners? Because I had to d/c their facial cream when they gave that a new formula as well. Remember new does not always mean better. I will not be buying this again and am deeply disappointed.

My hair is coarse straight Asian hair. This product does make it feel thicker and stronger. I like the smell, reminiscent of rosemary. The smell is not overpowering. It pairs well with the shampoo by this same company.

the smell is great, but it's not as emollient as other conditioners i've used. i like the smell, but it just doesn't smoth out my hair like i need it to. it's a thick and heavy cream, but it leaves my (short, wavy, thick) hair dry and brittle.

This is an effective daily conditioner. I use it with the Avalon Organics Biotin Shampoo almost daily. It's not too heavy and doesn't weigh down my hair. It's an effective detangler, but doesn't make my hair limp. Rinses out completely without leaving residue.

I really like this product, wrote a positive review about the shampoo, started using the conditioner based on my experience with the shampoo.

I like this product because it doesn't leave your hair feeling too oily, slippery or weighed down. My hair is very fine, and the last thing I need is a heavy conditioner. This one seems to be perfect for my hair type.

One my go-to's. Natural but effective. Tried this product at a friend's house and was impressed with it's moisturizing capabilities. Smells good, rinses clean, something I can use pretty much every day.
