I've had a chance to use it and yes, it does smell "different"...not in a bad way for me. I think it just a natural smell from a natural product. The scent goes away fairly quickly and I can definitely live with it...especially because the product works so well. I was really impressed with the firming action. I rub this product on after my morning shower and my skin still feels firm and smooth when I get ready for bed. I have spent alot of money on many of those high end firming/toning creams and I am more impressed with this product than any of those. The price is great and you can feel good about purchasing (no parabens, 100% vegetarian, no animal testing) . Would repurchase without a doubt! I went through the entire bottle in exactly a month's time (I only used it on my thighs and chest no more than once a day). Comments about Avalon Organics CoQ10 Repair Ultimate Firming Body Lotion, 8 fl oz: I have been using this product for years, I used to have no complaints but it seems like they may have changed the formula by watering it down...I noticed a distictive difference in the consistency in recent buys, it's just not as rich and moisturizing as it was. STill smells great and absorbs into the skin, but I wish they would bring back the old recipe. I'll still buy it but not as often as I can get cheaper products that work as well. Pros

The lotion goes on nicely and absorbs quickly. I personally did not notice any difference in skin texture after using the whole bottle. The lotion went fast, and for the price it is, I will not be purchasing again. It's also fairly thick, so by the time there was about a 1/4 of the bottle left, the pump couldn't squirt more out. I had to store the bottle upside-down to retrieve the very last bits of it. Pros

It does have an odd smell, but this dissipates quickly and anyway I got used to it before I had used up my first bottle. It is especially good for skin that is starting to age. I use it on my hands (which are starting to dry and wrinkle a bit) and it works wonders. It really keeps aging at bay. I go through multiple bottles a year and though the price is rather high it is worth every penny. Pros

I think it's working to help tighten and smooth things out, maybe it's just in my head. But I needed a new body lotion and this one is nice. It takes a little bit to rub it all in. The scent is pleasant. I like the bottle pump a lot, plus it locks for travel. For an organic product, this one is reasonably priced. I will buy again. Pros

I have very uneven skin - dry, oily, and a bit flaky. This seems to create a balance that lasts throughout the day. I use it before applying moisturizer and it helps it absorb well. Avalon products are a good value considering the quality. |
