I have used this product exclusively for over a year to wash my hands. I wash my hands A LOT.

Before I started doing this my hands would dry out, chap, and crack in the winter. My hands are very smooth, and not once last winter did I experience any chapping, drying, or cracking. I LOVE it, and highly recommend it.

I was one of the biggest fans of this soap, but Avalon Organics was bought out by The Hain Celestial Group. This soap now has a bottle and label that looks the same, but it says "New - More Essential Oils." The ingredients label is completely different from the wonderful soap previously sold by Avalon Organics. It no longer has that thick, rich feel that left hand feeling great. It no longer is manufactured in Canada.

The new bottle I have does not even work properly. When we press the nozzle at the top, air does not refill the bottle and the bottle begins collapsing. You must unscrew the top to let air in. A further big annoyance is that soap leaks out from the top as you use it and forms a perpetual ooze of gunk running down the top and the bottle. You have to either put it under the tap every so often to get rid of it or about every fifth time, rub your hands around the cap and bottle to make use of the soap you are losing.

Fantasic soap that neutralizes not-so-pleasant hand odors very effectively! Bottle looks beautiful, does not dry skin, pleasant scent.

Out of all the new hand soaps we've tried, this one is our favorite for the kitchen! The smell gets rid of a lot of the kitchen smells (onions) and leaves a fresh scent that is not overpowering.

This is a really nice hand soap that smells great and doesn't dry my skin. I try to use products that are not full of toxic chemicals and I'm especially pleased to use those that are also effective and pleasant. I will buy this again when it's on sale.

My headline says it all. What more do you want from a soap? I'm intrigued by the fact that there is a category called "bubbles don't last long" under cons. The is a "con" in sense that you are being con-ed if you think that matters! Sodium Laurel Sulfate (SLS) is unnecessarily added to thousands of products for just that reason--to make bubbles that don't do anything while it dries your skin, clogs your pores, and leaves a bitterness on you. Try eating a sandwich after washing your hands with an SLS containing soap and this fantastic soap from Avalon and see what I mean about the bitterness...a bitterness that can cause canker sores in some people (like me).

I guy friend of mine commented that he usually didn't notice hand soap but he thought this was a particularly nice one. I felt strangely proud.

I have very sensitive skin but it is not bothered by this soap. Plus, I love the smell. It is refreshing when you are tired or when it is hot outside.

Great SLS-soap, nice smell, only downside besides the price is the stroke of the pump is very long, i.e. you get a ton of soap if you push the nozzle down the entire length. This isn't a problem for me, but guests are going to be using a lot of this 6.50/bottle hand soap!
