My scalp suddenly started to get itchy and flaky, even only a day after washing my hair. Pollution, change in climate, dry, cold weather...all contributed to the problem. I was even losing more hair than usual in the shower, and my hair started thinning out- a problem I had never had to deal with before. I thought that getting a soothing, gentle shampoo might do the trick, and since I had heard that tea tree oil helps get rid of dandruff, decided to try this shampoo out. It is an all, or mostly natural shampoo, which is good. But I find that it does not clean my hair as effectively as I would like, and I have to use a good amount to even begin to shampoo my hair. It did not really help with the dandruff either-reduced it a little, but was not strong enough to really do much. I will not repurchase once I run out- and thankfully, the bottle is almost done. Some people might like using this as a daily shampoo, but for those with dandruff problems, it probably isn't enough. Best Uses Comments about Avalon Organics Shampoo, Tea Tree Mint Treatment, 14 fl oz: Very disappointing. I felt like I need another shampoo after shampooing with this product.
Pros Cons Best Uses Comments about Avalon Organics Shampoo, Tea Tree Mint Treatment, 14 fl oz: New version much different, why did they have to ruin a good thing? It's greasy, doesnt wash out, very thick and clumpy. Old kind washed out thoroughly and wasnt greasy at all. I used it as a shampoo about every 3 days.
Pros Cons Best Uses Comments about Avalon Organics Shampoo, Tea Tree Mint Treatment, 14 fl oz: All four bottles were leaking badly. Poor packaging by Drugstore.com. Huge mess!

Best Uses Comments about Avalon Organics Shampoo, Tea Tree Mint Treatment, 14 fl oz: I bought this for my husband and after one use he told me he will never use it again. The shampoo made his scalp itched all night. This shampoo has a very strong, unpleasant smell and doesn't lather well. I wish I could return this bottle but I can't. Maybe I will use it to clean my floors instead.

Comments about Avalon Organics Shampoo, Tea Tree Mint Treatment, 14 fl oz: I have very thinning hair. This shampoo keeps itching down, without being drying and smells a whole lot better than most other dandruff shampoos. It feels, and smells, very herbal, and not medicinal. I'm a repeat customer for this shampoo.

Best Uses Comments about Avalon Organics Shampoo, Tea Tree Mint Treatment, 14 fl oz: It doesn't smell how you would expect from the name. It smells like dandruff shampoo, and very strongly. It did a good job of cleaning without harmful ingredients, but my hair did seem a little too dry afterwards (even after using conditioner). If you're looking for dandruff control, this might work well for you, but I will be trying a different shampoo when this one runs out.
