I have used this brand for years and rotate the scents for different seasons. I was excited to order my new bottles (shampoo and conditioner) but it was just not the same. My hair was very tangly and a lot of my hair was coming out when I would use the products. I had read the "most liked negative review" and thought they were being paranoid. Now I wish I would have listened because I cannot touch this stuff again and I wasted money on it. Never again, seriously.

The shampoo cleans well. Nothing overwhelming about it. I would not use it alone because this conditioner holds the key to moisturizing your hair. I am growing out my color treated, damaged hair and this is great for daily use.

I bought a small sample of the peppermint body wash and loved the product. I searched online and found the whole line of products at Drugstore.com. I was thrilled to fine the shampoo, conditioner, and lotions. I highly recommend all of the Avalon Organics products.

BEWARE! I ordered 4 bottles because I (used to) love this product. I received one of the original formula and three labeled "New". The new formulation is significantly different--example: now contains sodium benzoate, glycerin, and the lavender oil is no longer organic!
Since I opened one of the "new" bottles to compare (Not even close in texture/fragrance) customer service will not accept it as a return.
This product name was sold and is now being produced by a different company in NY, not CA. This was cost-saving measure, not a product improvement. If you like the original product, do not buy this.

My hair usually works with any conditioning products. This one is probably the worst...sticky and tangle my hair. I like the shampoo A LOT better than this.

I picked this up at Trader Joe's. It smells great, but my hair feels coarse and tangles with this conditioner. Will not buy again.

Didn't condition at all. It left knots and I had to use another conditioner( Pantene) to get the knots out. The shampoo is good but a little drying. It smells really good and natural to me. I like the ingredients. Sorry I wish it worked.

this product left my hair so knotty, I had the worst time trying to comb my hair afterwards. I gave it another try & after 2 days I will say it is the worst conditioner I have ever used!

Within a week of daily use of Avalon Organics lavender shampoo and conditioner my previously straight hair turned curly--we're talking waves and ringlets ALL over! My hair has tons of body and shine now all the artificial gunk isn't weighing it down. So it smells great, looks great, and is easier to style-- I love it!
