I Love Avalon Organics but I purchased the cleansing "milk" by mistake. I use the cleansing Gel - wonderful product! The Milk irritated my skin.

Most cleansing gels just dry out my skin and most cleansing milks do not remove my make-up at nigt. I wear foundation/BB cream. However this Vitamin C cleansing milk is splendid. Two pumps removes all my make up in the shower and it does not dry out my skin in fact it makes my skin look soft. The smell is delicious. I pretty much use everything from the Avalon Lavender line but the Vitamin C cleanser is a keeper.

This product is like washing your face with old-timey cold cream. Except it is not as thick and comes in a pump bottle. If your looking for a product that lathers do not purchase this item. It works okay and cleanses my face but I will not buy again.

Used alone, this is kind of worthless, because it is not good at removing oil and dirt. If you have oily skin, forget about it -- hot water alone does a better job. I've found that it is OK when used as a face wash following a recent face wash, where you don't have too much new accumulated dirt/oil. For example, washing before bed, a few hours after taking a post-workout shower. The Avalon Refreshing Cleansing Gel, however, is 5-stars. That stuff is epic. This stuff is kind of a joke.

I've gone through the gamut of facial cleansers and this is what I have been using for a few years now. I wouldn't change. My skin improved once I started using this and I haven't ever had any irritation from it.

I use this product nightly when I take off my make up. It smells so good that it gives you a bit of a boost while you are cleansing. I usually buy the gel but got the milk instead and it works just as well. This product makes your skin glow, not in the over cleaned way but the Vitamin C just makes your skin glow. I also use the surum and the facial cream. I can always tell when I haven't been diligent about using them, my face looks dull. I love this line and would recommend it HIGHLY.

I have sensitive skin, and this is fine, does not burn. It leaves skin very moisturized - its creamy. It also seemed to remove all my makeup, but I dont wear foundation so i do not know how it is with really heavy stuff.

Overall, i love the texture.

This is the greatest for those of us in very dry climates. I use it every evening to get rid of the grime without drying out my face.

I have combination skin, spots on my cheeks tend to get dry and my T-zone gets oily. But, this face wash is gentle and helps keep my skin moisturized but not greasy feeling, while still keeping my face blemish free! The smell is bright and citrus-y, just like a fresh peeled orange. For the first time in a long time, I've found a face wash that I am loyal to. In fact, I think the next thing I'll try is the moisturizer in this line.
