I've been using this for years now and it's never failed me. Ever since I started using it I've only had maybe 3 breakouts. I use it in conjunction with Sea Breeze Astringent (which as anyone who uses it knows is SUPER effective but dries out skin quickly) and it's so moisturizing that my skin never even gets dry.

I have had adult acne for the past 15 years. After doing a round of accutane, it cleared up for a short time and then returned. I've been searching for a less invasive way to treat my adult acne for ages, and I've found this cleanser to be very effective.

It does not contain parabens or SLS, which is very important to me. Also, it smells great and feels great.

My acne is now under control and my skin tone is more even. This cleanser does not remove eye makeup. It congeals into a sludgy smeary splotch under my eyes. FINE! I don't even care! I just wipe off the sludge with a towel and enjoy my clear skin!

A lot of people commented that this product doesn't remove make up, but it works for my entire face (minus the eye make up which I use something else for). It contains beads that feels like its exfoliating and gently scrubbing your face. I've been using this product for almost 10 years and the only complaint is that it dries out my skin which I then have to apply a moisturizer as soon as it's dry. Another complaint is that it's always sold out at major stores near where I live, so it's hard to purchase it when I forget to have a back up at hand.

I've only been using this for a little over a week so I haven't seen much progress in my skin tone being more even. The break outs seem to clear up a lot faster and moderately prevents the break outs.

This is awesome!
I used to use pro-active but during my second pregnancy I decided to change. It was the best thing I did!! I only get pimples occasionally now and if I do get one after 1 wash it starts to disappear. The next day pimple is gone!!!
I can honestly say there is no negatives I can list for this product! I totally recomend this facial wash!

For some reason the local stores in my area don't always carry this so I was happy to find it on drugstore.com. I agree with another reviewer who said it was ineffective for makeup removal but I just use a wipe designed to remove makeup right before washing my face. This stuff balances my skin out well and keeps blemishes away.

I was hesitant about this cleanser at first, my skin is really sensitive and it seems like every cleanser I've tried dries out my skin. But my best friend swears by Aveeno so I figured I'd try it out. OMG i love this cleanser, its extremely gentle but still cleans well. I do use a lot of it so it goes quickly but it's pretty cheap as far as cleansers go. I almost never break out anymore and I don't have to glob on the moisturizer as soon as I step out of the shower.

I bought this cleanser since my face gets dry from acne products. It is moisturizing but it doesn't cleanse! I have about 70% of makeup left on my face after washing it. I had to follow it up with some Cetaphil because it was so ineffective. Only buy this product if you don't wear makeup and just want a moisturzing face rinse. Otherwise, don't bother.
