I wanted to love this since I use Aveeno body products almost exclusively and I liked this shampoo's ingredients (compared to other drugstore brands.) But this was awful! This was terribly drying and stripped my color and made my hair so frizzy in just a few uses -- despite the packaging claiming that it's "proven to nourish dry, damaged hair" and it's "gentle on color-treated hair." I did like the conditioner, though.

I loved everything about this shampoo and conditioner from the first time I used it BUT it seemed to strip my color and my roots showed up twice as fast as they usually do (I color my hair dark brown, my natural haircolor, which now has lots of gray). Maybe it just made my hair so healthy it grew faster! The lather was luxurious and amazing, smelled great, gave my hair great body but I just can't color my hair and then have to do it again sooner than I do already. I use it now right before I color again because then I have nothing to lose and I don't want to give it up. If they could do something about the color stripping they'd have a customer for life!

Since I really love the Renewal & Nourish Aveeno, I thought I'd try this one too. I found it to dull my color & make my fine hair frizzy or fly-away. No volume either, quite the opposite for me. this one is a dud.

This shampoo is good for my dry thin hair. I can't think of one reasonwhy I would stop using it.

I got this as a free sample when I bought my last bottle of Aveeno lotion. All I can say is finally a volumizing shammpoo/conditioner set that doesn't leave my baby fine hair a frizzy mess. And it makes my hair feel so soft. Love it! Love the smell too. I'll be buying a full size of this combination the next time I need hair products.

I really like this shampoo. It doesn't have a heavy smell but a very light smell. It cleans your hair thoroughly unlike some shampoos do. I can't think of a thing I don't like about it.

This shampoo has a good smell, but doesn't seem to add the volume I was looking for. May work better for people with different hair type than mine.

I have fine, wavy, oily hair and I use this shampoo on a daily basis. I've tried shampoos from all price ranges and this shampoo stands out. It cleans thoroughly without drying my hair out which is a difficult balance to achieve in my experience. It leaves my hair soft and manageable with no detectable residue that would weigh my fine hair down. In that sense it lives up to its name, it helps to volumize. An added plus, it smells wonderful! I love getting a whiff of my hair. I also use the matching conditioner and highly recommend. I will continue to use this wonderful product as long as Aveeno continues to make it, so please don't discontinue! I can't find this in stores anymore, so it's great that I can find it here and stock up. Highly recommend. Thank you Aveeno for making good quality products with quality ingredients and to drugstore.com for carrying these products!

I really like this shampoo. I have straight and fine hair, but I have a lot of it. It's so easy to pick through after showering. I use this along with it's corrisponding conditioner. My hair is soft all day, lifted, and managable. However, by the end of the night it starts to get greasy. I can't go a day without washing it. Also, I loose A LOT of hair in the shower and after picking it out. I'm not sure what that's about?
