Bought this for evening cleansing - doesn't clean make-up well. Skin was not clean and broke-out. It is a nice morning cleanser.

2nd ingredient listed: Sodium Laureth Sulfate
Nasty stuff! I am an avid label reader and decided to give this a shot because of the shittake extract in it. My sister and I both have acne issues and both know products with Sodium Laureth Sulfate are horrible for creating break outs. This one proved it - used it for one week and threw it away. I'm back to using Avalon Organics products again.

It is the best cleanser and make-up remover I have found. I love how the top locks and you can travel with ease and no mess. So glad I could find it on line. I was afraid Aveeno quit making this product. I love the texture and how it makes my skin feel.

I have a couple of department store-brand scrubs that are my favorites, but I'm on a budget now, and those are not in my price range. I have very particular skin, not exactly acne-prone, but definitely sensitive to a lot of ingredients. I can't use anything with AHA or beta-hydroxy acids, I don't have any sun damage to fix, I don't have lines or wrinkles- I just needed a good exfoliator to use before applying my makeup everyday, one that was emollient enough not to irritate my face, but strong enough to sweep away the flaky skin that comes with my dry skin type. This fits the bill. I'm not wild about fomy cleansers, and this one doesn't get out-of-control w/ that. While it lacks the oomph of my favorite brands in terms of exfoliating, this is an okay substitute, because it has caused no breakouts, no redness and overall, keeps the flaky dry skin away. For the price, very good quality, and the packaging (opaque & pump-top) keep it fresh & unoxidized.

Works great.. but I only use it 2x per week as it is a bit on the pumice side.

I love the gentleness and the texture of this cleanser, and I especially love the fact that you only need a very small amount to get the job done making it affordable.

I was using Mary Kay's Time Wise products which I also love, but I wanted to try an alternative anti-age product that I could walk into a drugstore and purchase so after reading Aveeno's Positively Ageless product reviews I decided to try the Aveeno Positively Ageless Exfoliating Cleanser, SPF30 Daily Moisterizer, and the Night Cream, and my skin looks amazing. I was a little skepticle at first because I have very oily skin and most people that use Aveeno's products have dry skin due to Aveeno's products being the perfect regimen for people with very dry or sensitive skin, however my dark spots from previous blackheads have diminished in just two weeks and the fine frown lines I was beginning to form have diminished as well. I have tried other store brand anti-aging products and none of them performed what they promised, but Aveeno's positively ageless products are now my number 1 facial skin regimen. Unfortunately, the Positively Ageless Firming/Brightening Eye Cream does not hold up to its standards- it's a great eye moisterizer but does nothing for wrinkles and brightening. The best firming/eye brightening eye cream EVER is Mary Kay's TimeWise Firming/Brightening Eye Cream so I will stick to that. Overall, Aveeno's products are affordable and has lived up to its promise.
