This was recommended to me by my dermatologist because I am allergic to preservatives. I have been using it for 4 years and my skin has thanked me. It may seem initially heavy when applying, but that quickly disappears. I do not have dry skin, in fact I lean toward a mix of dry to oily and the lotion is fine either way. I have eczema in the winter and this helps to fend it off. Highly recommended for those with allergies or sensitive skin.

This is a nice lotion. It goes on smooth, smells nice, is gentle and your skin will feel silky smooth. However, it didn't cure my winter dry itchy skin. In fact, I think it made my legs itch even more! And, if you apply more to cure the itchy'ness your skin will be greasy AND still itchy.

I will definitely continue to purchase it because it is a gentle product, but I will only use it on my hands and arms. It didn't work as a body lotion for me.

I recommend if you have sensitive skin. Even if it doesn't cure your itchy skin, it won't make you break out due to its gentle ingredients.

My son has a quite severe case of eczema, he scratches until his elbows crack and other parts of his body actually begin to bleed. It's essential that he stay moisturized, however he can't tolerate fragrances or dyes and this works well. It doesn't have a good or bad smell, it's pretty much neutral. After an extremely trying flare up a few weeks ago this product calmed his skin down enough for the open wounds to start healing. He says it doesn't burn or sting at all, even when he's applying it near broken skin and I notice he doesn't scratch so much after application. It says it works for 24 hours, but for severely dry skin you may need to reapply during the day. I haven't had success with other lotions and quite frankly I'm scared to try anything else that could aggravate his skin, since this works well I will stick with it.

This works so great, beyond my expectation..
I used to use department brand body products, which normally cost 3-4times more than this.
but now I am very satisfied with this in terms of performance and price. Amazingly moisturzing and long-lasting. My skin feels comfort, moisturizing, even. Hope it comes with organic ingredient and without paraben..

I use the product when seasons change and my skin becomes painfully dry. No other lotion can compare. When you itch that badly from dry skin, it feels as much like good medicine as it does good lotion. Also, it is good for for those who have dry skin due to horomonal changes. Oh, and I can't forget to mention that it is great for use in conjunction with it's fragrance free liquid shower soap product counterpart(Especially during hunting season).

I have dry, sensitive, problem skin and was looking for a moisturizing lotion to supplement the one my dermatologist recommended (because my skin is THAT dry). I used Aveeno products when I was in my 20s-30s, and have always been pleased with their products...
BUT
When I applied this lotion to my problem area (neck/chest) I broke out in hives that took 8 (EIGHT) weeks to heal. This brand hangs its name on being gentle & safe, but it aggravated my skin mightily after only one application. This was a complete waste of money; in fact it COST me money due to the additional products I had to use to treat the welts it caused.
Conclusion: Aveeno is fine for normal skin conditions/dryness ONLY. DO NOT USE if your skin condition is extreme.

This lotion is awesome. Stays on up to 16 hours on my arms but lasts 24hours on the rest of my body. I can tell the difference.

I have tried many moisturisers to help my keep my skin soft, after months of using prescribed creams for eczema flare up, I purchased this product and could not believe how quickly I saw an improvement in the texture and colour of my skin. Absolutely no adverse effects, so stinging, no burning or itching. My hands especially were visibly improved after 2 applications.
